Against my own personal wishes, I stayed in the hospital for another week on bed rest. Alpha Kael was around in every waking moment and just like he had promised even when he wasn't, Aiden didn't come after me which was a huge source of relief to me.
I called Marigold the very day that he had mentioned her coming to visit with Kenny and laid it out for her straight.
“Marigold, I don't want you to come visiting for the time that I'll be here at the hospital. Just focus on taking care of Kenny and yourself.”
