LYRA'S POV
It was deep into the night, just like every other night in the hospital. I thought that it would pass peacefully but I had no idea what was coming for me. As I was dozing off, somebody smoothly crept into my room.
By the time I had woken up and sensed the presence of someone hovering over me, knowing that it was not Alpha Kael. I knew I was in a position that could have not allowed me to escape. But just as the person was about to grab me, they were yanked backwards. I sat up instantly to see Alpha Kael fighting with the strange intruder who was wearing a mask.
Just from the figure of the person alone, I knew that it was a man, and a strong one at that because he was fighting toe to toe with Alpha Kael at first. After a while, it was obvious that he was having the tables tur
