LYRA'S POV
His lips on mine felt right.
It answered to a yearning that had been planted inside both of us and we had been ignoring ever since we came across each other again. Or at least, I thought that I was the only one ignoring it and he had accepted it as it was nothing more than a one night stand.
Before I knew it my hands were around his neck pulling him closer into the kiss and he found my waist. His lips smothered mine in the most enjoyable way and Sparks went off in my head as I tried to catch my breath. At the same time, I didn't even care if I was running out of it, we continued to kiss each other until our lips hurt. My face was flushed and he's was torn with the urge to come in for another kiss.
He was about to do just that and I would have let him.
