Wild rogues on the move

He drives me home and helps me out of the car. Before entering the house he pushes me against the door eating my face out, when he finally breaks the kiss I am breathless “I needed that” he says and nuzzles my nose with his, I chuckle and then turn to open the door. Derek pulls me back behind him and growls “hold on” Julia says and we walk in. On the table is a rogue bloodied and beaten “Oh my” I say “He is a friend of ours.” Victoria says and cries softly “he won’t make it,” Julia says “Idiots, you have me” I grumble and stalk towards him. I put my hands on his body and imagine the blood flowing back and the wounds closing up. He gasps and sits up and looks in wonder at me “the phoenix” he whispers and I nod at him. Derek pulls me back in his embrace with a low growl in his voice. “I mean no harm,” the rogue says to Derek while holding his hands up “Especially since she saved my life,” he adds. Derek gives a curt nod but doesn’t let me go. “What happened?” I ask him, “My house was attacked by wild rogues. Demanding us to tell them where the phoenix wolf is. I told them I didn’t know but that I knew who knew. They let me go and I made my way here hoping to warn you,” he says. “Thank you,” I say and smile at him “what is the address?” Derek asks. The man gives the address, Derek’s eyes got misty for a second. “Ordered 20 men to go there and take them out, take a few captives if possible,” he says and I nod. “My family is held captive,” the rogue says. Derek’s eyes got misty again “Told them not to harm the captives,” Derek says and the man nods in gratitude. “What is your name?” I ask the man “Peter” he replies. “Can you tell me how many rogues there were?” I ask “ I think around 10 maybe 12. It was chaos” he says while scratching his neck “That is all right. Did they say anything that might be able to help us in the future?” I ask him. I break free from Derek and walk over to Peter. “yeah, when they thought I was out cold, they whispered that he was not happy that it took so long” he says and I nod “He as in a boss I think?” I ask him and he nods “That is my guess as well. The other guy replied only that that was the reason they were doing this now. Nothing else was said, not in my conscious state at least” he tells me “Thank you.” I smile sweetly at him. We all sit down and wait in silence. An hour later Brad walks in “Done, the captives they had demanded to come with us. They are waiting outside” he says “Let them in,” I say and Brad nods. Two children and a woman walk in, Peter engulfs them in hugs. “Jezus,” I say at the wounds they have. “Even the children,” I say and shake my head while I get up. I walk over to the group and crouch in front of the boy and girl “It’s all right. You are safe now” I say and hold out my hands hoping they will take it “It’s all right, go ahead,” Peter tells them and gives them a small nudge. They shyly put their bruised hands in mine. I imagine their wounds healing and disappearing. When I am done “Thank you,” the older boy says amazed and I smile “you’re welcome,” I say and smile. I stand up and put a hand on the shoulder of the woman and repeat it, and heal her as well. My mother walks over “Thank god, Bella you are all right” Victora says and pulls her in a hug. “I am now. Thank you Phoenix” she says and smiles at me “It’s Anastasia,” I say and smile and she nods. I make my way back to Derek who is smiling at me sweetly. I smile back and sit down in his lap. “Rest” he whispers and I nod, closing my eyes. “Is she all right?” Peter asks “Yes, she is fine. It just takes a lot out of her” Derek explains “Ah all right” I hear Peter say and then darkness engulfs me.

I wake up from being lifted in a car. “where are we going?” I ask Derek. “All of us are going to the packhouse love. I don’t want to discuss this. You’re parents’ are joining us there and Peter's family is as well. I just don’t have the men to protect your house. Especially if they are attacking houses, if we put that many men there they will know. It will be a beacon.” He explains “it’s okay. As long as you don’t take me there” I tell him “I know” he says and smiles. I nod and he closes the door and then gets into the drivers' side. We arrive a few minutes later at the packhouse and I get out before Derek has the chance to open my door and he pouts at me, “Ah big baby” I tell him and kiss him sweetly. He chuckles and we walk inside. He leads me to a meeting room and sits me down “we will be discussing stuff here when everyone arrives” he says and I nod. He kneels in front of me and leans against me capturing my lips. We make out like that for minutes “Never thought I would see the day that our Alpha would be on his knees” Julia says with mock in her tone “For my mate, I’ll do everything” he grumbles and breaks free. He takes the seat next to me but keeps holding my hand. People pile in and take a seat at the table. Derek introduces everyone. “So, the rogues are now paying house visits. I need to know who exactly knows what she is and that she lives with you” he says to my parents “I will make a list. You will not harm them?” Victoria asks “No, I will give them shelter here on pack lands,” Derek says and my parents nod. “Thank you,” they say and smile. “We have to predict the fact that more rogues are coming. And that they will eventually attack here. I have a feeling they are desperate enough to do that” Derek says and everyone nods “alpha” Brad says “speak your mind” Derek says. “Isn’t it time that we tell the council what is happening here?” Brad suggests “You are right. I will call an emergency meeting here” Derek says “Anything else?” Derek asks. “Uhm, when they DO attack. How will the rogues that you will house here know it?” I ask “good question, we need to work up a system for that” Derek says. “I have an idea, not sure it will work though,” I tell him “What is it?” he asks “maybe something with my magic. So far I have been able to do anything we have come up with.” I tell him and he nods “Good point. Maybe some sort of alarm with a red color. Best would be a flickering light” Derek says and I nod “I will practice that” I say and Derek nods “all right. Victoria, make a list as soon as possible. You even have permission to invite them personally here. Not sure if they will come then but you can try. I will call an emergency meeting, and Ana will try to come up with a warning system for the rogues. And everyone else who blocks out the bond” Derek says, everyone nods and gets up. I walk outside sit down on the porch and concentrate. I imagine a red light flickering through the pack lands. I open my eyes and nothing. I groan but keep trying.
