" woooh you are so beautiful..am but there is one detail am.... where is it am... where did I put it am.... am..... here it is " She said while looking at her things in her bag.
She had come out of the bathroom and she had a bathing towel on and to be honest it was very small.
After she had looked through her things she found what she was looking for.
An Crystal green necklace that was finely curved to the perfection.
Every detail was well looked at. Any one who had good eyes could see that it was not just an ordinary necklace.
It costed millions of money. The necklace was so beautiful.
She helped me put it on. When I looked at myself on the mirror I could see that it highlighted my long collar bones.
The necklace made me exude an aura of luxury.
She also added some green sapphire hair pins that also highlighted my ash blonde hair.
I could admire myself in the mirror for hours. I looked like the little princess of an empire.
Luna wore a crystal deep blue gown it reached mid thigh with a small slit on the left leg.
It complimented her sun toned skin.
She was curvy unlike the petite me.
She also did some makeup and wora a crystal deep blue necklace.
Unlike Luna I was a little shorter. She was hot and I knew I had a good friend.
" Maann you look like the queen seductress if you are not related to Aphrodite then you must be lying to me" she told me I was used to her over complimenting me.
But to speak the truth her saying had a degree of truthfulness.
I could not have accepted her to doll me up if i did not want to make some girl to envy me.
Joanna was going to be shocked as to how I was able to actually become so beautiful.
She gave me a pair of six inch crystal green heeled shoes.
At least I knew how to walk in the shoes.
After all am not a country bumpkin to an extent
She herself was beautiful to an extent but compared to me am sure she was no match.
This was not something I was proud of but something I despised a lot
This beauty brought attention to me everywhere I go and I usually makes people do things that they could never had done
I remember when I was little my parents took me to the park to play. They did not have money and I wanted Ice cream. I cried in front of the Ice cream kiosk and when the man saw how beautiful I was gave me three Ice creams which I shared with my parents
You may see it as an advantage but I always regret him doing that to me since he went on a loss of three Ice creams.
Luna started to drag me.
" We are going to be late If you continue admiring yourself all day" She told me
We went to her car and she drove off.
Before we actually go into the hotel she took a photo of us.
" Am going to post it on i********:" She told me.
" Is it true that you actually get paid" I asked because I believed it was a scum.
" Yah girl I myself get paid around fifty thousand per sponsored post" she told me
" Hey bring your phone" She took it without me even giving it to her
She downloaded that app and signed me in
" I will mention you so that you can gain more followers and monetize early" she told me as we headed to the venue.
If I was to be honest I wanted to know if it truly pays
I was so curious.
As we were walking towards the venue you could just guess it.
Men with their gazes were actually trying to strip me naked.
Women had envious gazes and I.. I DID NOT CARE!
We walked like two queens with our heads high.
Actually I came to know that their were two parties going on
One was for the elite in the city and the other was for our company.
This I knew it while we were in the elevator.
" Which family would this beauty belong to huh beautiful? " A man dared ask me in the elevator
The other ladies were jealous. But I did not know why.
Could it be because I was more beautiful than them or because I the man was talking to me.
But I think it was the latter.
The man had his own degree of handsomeness but if you were to ask me I could never date such a man. It is just because he did not fit my ideal of a good husband nor a boyfriend
But before I could answer the elevator door opened and Luna draged me away
" Bye handsome but this young lady is booked" She told the man as we walked away
I could still feel his gaze on my back as we moved away from the elevator.
" Girl you must be careful in the future not all men are good" she told me in between her breath
I looked at her bewildered did she know that man because from the way she looked i was definitely sure she knew him
" That man is known as the play boy of the city famously nickname 'City playboy ' he is a no go zone because he exchange's women more than he exchange's his under pants.
I looked at her with an expression that was not readable one could not make out what I was thinking but definitely I was thinking
Actually I had seen some of his scandals and I knew I never wanted to be one of them.
" Let us just go we can not waste our time with a nobody " I told her dragging her into the hall
The music was not too loud and people were chatting while laughing.
Once I got in heads turned and everybody was stealing glances of me.
I just ignored them and went to a more quieter corner and sat down looking at the people talking and wishing that the one hour could just end.
A waiter served for me am apple juice which I was very happy to accept.
Atleast I could drink my sorrow away.
I did not know where on earth Luna had went and I was sure the social butterfly she was she was busy making some new friends or stealing some new ideas
Just then my phone started to buzz with unendless notifications I took it out and I looked at it and it was from i********: and apparently followers were coming to me like flocks.
I opened it and saw that I had reached a hundred and twenty nine followers.
I opened the comment section and people were asking which family I came from some saying that I was too beautiful
Some even said that the beauty queen of the city had been out shined
I read all of this comments with a smile on my face.
I looked up and saw a tall figure blocking the light from my way.
