I woke up at around 8 in the morning I was in no hurry because I didn't have any job in me to keep me busy. I did my morning routine as usual
i looked at my phone to see if any of the companies I had sent a request for a position had Emailed me back
I waited for a long time. I got bored and chose to take a walk to know the city
I passed through clothing stores and just wished i had the money to buy such
It was just a shame that some people could afford it without any bother
As I was crossing the street I happened to witness an accident i went to see what was happening and the funny thing is that people were just watching and some taking a video
what kind of place is this i rushed and pulled the pregnant woman from the car
I did first aid to her and that is when the ambulance came to rush her to the hospital
" madam would you like to escort the lady" the ambulance attendant asked me
Since I had nothing to do i went with the woman
when we arrived she was admitted and after some time she was rolled out of the emergency room
It only took about an hour for her to wake up.
If i was to be honest she was very beautiful fit for a model. I didn't know her
she had a summer bitten skin complexion with red full lips her her eyebrows were thick and well shaped
She flattered her wing like eyelashes as she woke up
We looked at each other for sometime
" where am I?" she asked me
Have you ever seen how in movies the female wakes up from an accident and then asks where am I then speaking the truth i felt that way
I looked at her she had green eyes I had never seen anyone with those kind of eyes it made me want my children to have those kind of eyes
" am sorry miss who are you?"
" I was the woman who saved you from the hit and run accident"
" Ooh... thanks for your kindness"
" It is okay no problem"
" By the way I am Alicia young"
" Nice to meet you am Crystal Hayes"
" Just say anything i will repay your kindness"
" no thanks it was just a work of charity "
I would have asked for a job but I had received two messages asking me to go for an interview
She looked at me and I could see the judgement on her eyes
I didn't care all because I had worn over washed clothes actually that made me mad
" Madam if you may excuse me i would like to leave i have some important things to attend to" I told her waking up and collecting my things
I moved out without even wanting to talk to her anymore I was tired of the judgemental gazes of people
I went to the counter and told the nurse who was present that the patient had woken up
I paid for her bills knowing too well that she could afford them but I didn't care my pride was not going to go down
I finished and went on my way not wanting to go back
I had to prepare for the interview the next day
I just wished that i could get the job and buy some decent clothes
That thought followed me for long until I reached in my apartment
I started to find if i had some decent clothes to wear and I found a white blouse and a black skirt that had been washed a few times but we're decent to wear
The problem was this were the only decent clothes I had meaning I had to wash and we're for a whole month if I got the job
i sighed I just had to be patient and everything would be good
As the day was going by my anxiety increased
Back in the hospital
Immediately she had left Harry Hills arrived shocked beyond control. He was worried. He was anticipating for the worst possible. But he was never ruthless like his younger brother. Atleast he had a heart. His brother's was eaten up by eagles
If anybody told him that his younger brother would love he would laugh or loud
He got to the counter reception and asked for details about his wife
The nurse showed him the way since he was an important figure in start city
the nurse thought that this could make man to notice her and maybe take her to one of their hospitals to work for him
But it was all in vain since the man was too preoccupied with his worry about his wife and the baby about to come
When he reached the entrance of the room he got in and to his shock his wife lay in a very unappealing bed that was crowded
He did not even care about the strong smell of disinfectant and the air congestion in the room
He went directly to his wife and hugged her so tightly that she began to cough alarmed he stopped hugging her
With concerned written all over his face he looked at his wife with delicate eyes that could melt a hard stone
"Are you okay?" he asked her with concern visible on his face
"Am fine don't stress" the woman said obviously not in for the mood to talk
" what happened? who tried to harm you? " he asked alot of questions in one go.
"hey slowly i can't answer all those questions at once" she explained him every detail she told him
"Do you know who helped you"
He wanted to give her a proper thank you but she had disappeared into thin air
He asked everybody in the hospital
