Dancing with an Alpha

Chapter 2:

Carson POV:

My name is Carson Langston and I am the alpha of the Dark moon pack. My pack is one of the biggest packs around. We have over 3,000 wolves among us and I am proud of how far my pack has come. As you know we get our wolves when we turn 18 and from there we start looking for our mates. Now as the alpha you would think I would have found my mate right after I turned 18 but I haven't’ I am now 26 and I still don’t have a Luna for my pack. If it weren’t for my parents and my pack I would have gone crazy by now

I used to travel far and wide to many packs looking for her, the one the moon goddess herself has chosen for me but…..nothing I never find her so one day my beta Devin approaches me and decides to go out for the day but away from pack lands so we go to a gym in the nearby city. I mindlink my gamma Cameron and ask him to watch things while we are gone. Of course he complains but he already was busy today so he couldn’t have gone with us. We throw our bags in the back of my car and we head out.

The closer we got to the city I felt my wolf Xylais paced back and forth getting antsy “Xylais what is wrong with you?” I ask “I don’t know but I feel something just be careful something might happen” he says back and I know him if he thinks something is going to happen he usually isn’t wrong. We pull up to a gym we always come to when we want to escape the pack. We grab our bags and head inside but as soon as I hit the inside I smell the most beautiful smell in the world, the smell of fresh baked sugar cookies and a hint of vanilla. The smell makes me want cookies. I sit my bag down and follow the smell until I see this gorgeous figure at the other end of the gym. She was the most beautiful woman I have ever laid eyes on, her beautiful chestnut brown hair was tied up in a perfect bun on the top of her head. She had the most beautiful blue eyes, her eyes are more blue than the ocean and sky combined. Her body had curves that were…..oh they were perfect I wanted to run my hands along them committing every part of her body to memory. Her legs were perfect, not too long but not too short. I mean they would be even better wrapped around me as I planted my seed inside her. I shake my head at that thought and hear Xylais growl “mate” that’s when I knew I had found my mate.

Devin sees me staring at my beautiful mate then walks over and starts talking to her. Once I hear her name Merlia cross her lips I fell more in love with her. She looks at me and smiles the most beautiful smile I have ever seen in my existence “that smile would look better with our lips on hers” Xylais growls I roll my eyes f*cken horny a*s wolf “calm down Xy she is human we can’t scare our mate away besides she hasn’t accepted us yet chill” I say he growls and retreats to the back of my mind. I listen to their conversation then Devin walks back over but notices us still staring “Carson what…..oh……oh s*it” he says “she's your mate” he grins I punch his arm” shut up” I growl “she’s human so we can’t scare her don’t say or do anything stupid” he acts offended by that “why I…..you should know me Car I would never do anything stupid” I roll my eyes laughing “why is it I find that hard to believe” I look at him he laughs and shakes his head “lets get to working out Mr. Loverboy” he says and walks away. I take one last glance at my beautiful mate then turn and walk away to change.
