Oliver ran straight into the restaurant despite how chaotic the place was. Only the side entrance and exit of the restaurant was on fire and it looked like people were using the front entrance to escape. When Oliver entered the restaurant he crouched slightly and used his eyes to scan for the shooters who fired the guns. He noticed that there were still some people who remained in the restaurants, crouching down and hiding under the tables while some people tried to escape and crawled towards the entrance. Oliver quickly made his way over to the bar part of the restaurant where he saw some workers and also a familiar face which he remembered from yesterday night but never expected to see again. Oliver didn't know what to think about seeing this person in another of their business locations. He quickly turned his attention away and located the shooters who were three in number and crouched in specific corners of the restaurant, focused on his targets and shot both of them dead while he left only one alive, only injuring him so he could be interrogated later.
He stood and made his way to the back of the restaurant to locate Benito who he didn't see admist all that had happened. He found Benito in his office sitting down like nothing was wrong and like a shoot out didn't just take place. “Are you f*****g kidding me Beni!” he yelled. Didn't you notice that there were guys shooting up the f*****g place” he asked Benito going closer to him. “To my knowledge there were only two shooters” Benito said shakingly. “There were three shooters here and it doesn't matter the amount of shooters present because there were f*****g civilians here!” he yelled again. Benito looked about ready to s**t his pants in fear. Oliver then noticed how scared Beni really was and realised that he was still so new to this and the shooting must have shook him up and him yelling didn't help. He decided to try a different tone. “We do not need the police sniffing around and sticking their nose in our business because of dead civilians. It makes for bad business.” “I understand” Benito replied no longer shaking like a leaf. “Now not a word of this to anyone who doesn't need to know. You don't want them to start looking for a new replacement for you already. It won't be pleasant” Benito nodded his head quickly in understanding. “Go put out the fire, dispose of the bodies and ready the other man for questioning” he ordered. Benito quickly stood up and left the place to do as he was told.
Oliver took out his phone to update Carlos about the what happened but decided not to since the situation was already resolved. He made his way back to the main restaurant and the first thing he saw was the unknown female still crouching as if she didn't realise that the shooting had stopped. He should have ignored her presence entirely but instead he walked over and knelt down in front of her. “Are you ok?” he asked but received no response. “Hey” he said softly while waving a hand in front of her face. The female looked up to him, her eyes glossy like tears were about to fall. Oliver didn't know why or what had possessed him but he decided to take the female to his car. He opens the door, tells her to get in and he has every intention of letting her calm down then leaving her. He goes back to the restaurant to confer with Benito on what is to be done. “Any casualties?” he asks. “None” Benito responds. “But a few workers who were still at the back were injured when the side entrance got blown because of the fire” he adds. “Get them medical attention, make sure no one says a word about what went down and start rebuilding immediately. This place should be spotless by the next check in” Oliver says.
He goes back to his car hoping that the female had calmed down by now only to see her already passed out. All the adrenaline must have worn off he thought. He decides to go to his apartment since he can't wait around here and he has no idea of where to go.
Kathy's head feels so light as she wakes up. “Must have been all the smoke from the fire” she thinks. She suddenly remembers all the events that occurred in the past hours and sits up with a start. She looks around and sees that this is an unknown room and she's in an unknown bed and her mind goes back to the stranger that helped her. She quickly removes the comforter from her body and stands up from the bed. She decides to take a look around and also to find the owner of this place and the person who brought her here.
As Kathy walks around, she is amazed by the size of the place and how well organised and clean it all seems. She finds the person downstairs making a phone call in a not language, probably Spanish and she decides to wait around till he finishes. While still on the phone call he uses one hand to direct her to the island where he ushers her to a seat and places a cup of water in front of her. She realizes she's very thirsty as soon as she starts drinking the water. While she waits for him to finish his phone call, she thinks about what to say when he does. She also notices that he's staring openly at her, watching her. “Thank you” she says to him when she realises that he's no longer talking on the phone. “For what exactly?” he asks her while looking directly at her. She can't tell if he's joking or not. She decides to reply anyway. “For saving me at the restaurant and also for what you did at the club” You seem to like getting yourself into a lot of trouble” he says now smiling. She doesn't know how or what to respond to that. She also realises that he is a complete stranger, albeit a sexy stranger but she doesn't even know his name and he doesn't know hers. “Who are you?” she asks him. He looks a lot surprised by her question which makes her think that he may be someone very popular or well known if he looks that surprised. “My name is Oliver” he replies. “My name is Katarina” she says instead of waiting for him to ask. It's only fair she thinks. “That's a beautiful name. Katarina” he says as if testing the name. The name makes her feel some type of way coming from his mouth. “I'm going to give you a nickname if that's ok with you” he says. She nods in response and wonders what kind of name he'll come up with. “Kathy” he says suddenly and the name rings a bell in her head as if it's a little familiar to her. “Can I call you that?” he asks her for her confirmation. “Yeah you can” she says. “But I'll also give you a cute nickname” she adds. Oliver doesn't know how to feel about that. Most of the nicknames he has are more on the scary and intimidating side than on the cute side. “Let me know what you come up with” he responds to her instead.
“Why do you always end up in trouble” he asks her all of a sudden. “I don't know. I guess I'm just unlucky” she says solemnly. Oliver doesn't know what to say to that. Of all the answers she could have given he didn't anticipate that. He remains silent instead of speaking so Kathy continues “The past few days have been really rough for me and I don't know what to do.” Oliver goes closer to her as she sets at the island to give her some semblance of comfort “Hey, tell me where your family is and I'll take you to them” he says. Kathy takes a deep brain through her nose, looks up to him and says “I don't know where or who my family is or if I even have any family at all” she says which leaves Oliver wondering what she means. Before he can voice out his confusion, Kathy clears it for him “I have amnesia.”
