Still Adrian's POV
I really don't know why Derek is behaving strangely today but I need to put him in his place before he messes things up for us. We've worked so hard to get to this point and I'll be damned if I let him put himself at risk because of me.
Maybe I was wrong to bring him to this meeting. It's obvious that he ain't thinking straight and am sure he's still strolling down memory lane, reliving the past over again.
He's still stuck in the past and I need him to snap out of it, right now. I had no other choice but to look him straight in the eyes and talk sense into him, letting him know that am not willing to put him at risk, not now, not ever.
