Olivia was in the kitchen when Sebastian, Georgiana, Hattie and Richie returned from the RFC meeting.
“How did it go?” she asked. “Anything new to report?”
“You didn’t miss much,” Georgiana looked glum. “We’re not going to win.”
“Nonsense,” Hattie patted her arm. “Something will crop up when we least expect it.”
“Well whatever that is, it’s running out of time,” Sebastian replied. “Where is everyone?” he asked Olivia.
