CHAPTER 61
Dan was feeling groggy. He had had a few drinks at the wrap party and let his hair down, but that didn’t explain why his head was so woozy or why the events of the party were fractured in his memory.
He groaned as he sat up in bed and rubbed his eyes. It was still dark outside, and it took him a few moments to adjust to the bedside light. When he opened them, he was shocked to see Kylie getting dressed in the corner of his hotel room.
“f**k,” he whispered. “What happened?”
“I knew you wouldn’t say no if the chance presented itself,” Kylie purred. “And when you made it clear last night how much you wanted to screw me I thought I might as well give you a go.”
“What?” Dan cried. “There’s no f*****g way I would have ever have said that, let alone slept with you. You’re lying.”
