CHAPTER 32
Bobby Garnett flew into Wyatt’s office with the news.
“Guess what?” he shouted.
Wyatt raised his eyebrows. He seldom saw Bobby so animated. “What?”
“Edward Hampton is dead and he hadn’t gotten around to signing the contract with Sebastian Bloom.” He rubbed his hands together. “Time to swoop in. The daughter’s in charge now, so we can renegotiate, throw money at it. You do still want the place, don’t you?”
Wyatt smiled. “Couldn’t have happened at a better time. Do it,” he said to Bobby. “Make it happen. I don’t care how much it costs.”
The intercom on his desk interrupted them. “Yes?”
“Ms Winton is demanding to see you,” Gloria, his PA, informed him.
“Send her in,” he told Gloria.
Bobby rolled his eyes as Ashley brushed past him on his way out.
