CHAPTER 116 “Are you sure you’ll be ok on your own? I don’t want to leave if it’s going to be a problem.” Dan was standing in the doorway of the kitchen. “Yes,” Georgiana replied. “I said I was fine, didn’t I?” “What you say and what you mean are two very different things,” Dan muttered. He was fighting hard to not let Georgiana see how frustrated he was with her. “It would be easier all round if they came here,” he continued. Georgiana slammed her mug down on the table. “No,” she snapped. “No visitors. Just go. Hattie will be here soon anyway.” Dan turned around, closed his eyes and breathed in and out slowly before walking out of the kitchen. No matter how many times he told himself she wasn’t angry with him, it still hurt like hell when she used him as a punching bag for her moods
