EPILOGUE
“Ready?” Gerry asked Georgiana through her ear piece.
“As I’ll ever be,” she grinned at the camera.
“Time to dazzle, love,” Gerry replied.
Georgiana gulped back her nerves and at looked at Dan for reassurance. He was standing behind one of the cameramen, smiling encouragingly. “You’ll be brilliant,” he whispered, and blew her a kiss.
She had returned from France revitalised and more in love with Dan than she had ever thought possible. His devotion, constant support, and encouragement had helped her move on from the attack, and she could now talk about it without feeling pain or being crippled with anxiety.
She no longer lived in fear of Wyatt. He was languishing in jail awaiting a trial date as the British government fought an extradition battle with the US Secretary of Stat
