“You asshole,” Kylie screamed down the phone. “I’m ruined.”
“You knew the risks babe,” replied the voice from the other end.
“How did I know they’d find it? You said you dealt with it,” she growled. “What am I gonna do?”
“That’s your issue.”
“What about us?” Kylie was stunned.
“There is no us. Don’t call me again.”
The phone went dead and when she redialled she found her number blocked. The next call that came through was from her publicist.
