The RFC’s date with the High Court was set for three days after the wedding. Georgiana and Dan would be away on their honeymoon, but Sebastian and the rest of the village were in full battle mode and ready to take down Athos once and for all.
They had stopped the development of The Riverside – at least for the time being – by using the Feudal document that Emily had procured. It had, as predicted, left them in a state of limbo, but they had had no choice. The only way to stall for more time was to continue the search for the missing addendum to their ancient record.
