“It’s done.” Bobby Garnett informed Wyatt that the plan to derail Georgiana and Dan had been a success.
“And?”
“He’s back in LA. She’s at home. It’s over. That’s good news for you.” Bobby grinned.
Wyatt nodded his head. Georgiana was at a low point now. It was time for him to swoop in and play the white knight. His ego was large enough to believe he could reel her in.
Bobby left his office and Wyatt picked up the phone. He dialled his investor. “I don’t know what you offered that actress, but it worked. They’re on the ropes.”
Dan was suffering the pain of heartbreak in LA, and his home felt empty and soulless without Georgiana there. He had taken Sebastian’s advice to give her space, and had run back to America to lick his wounds in private.
