Doctor James Elliott finished examining Olivia and sat with her for a few moments before she drifted off to sleep. He left the bedroom and quietly shut the door before addressing Sebastian.
“She’s ok. Don’t panic.” He offered a reassuring smile. “She’s physically worn out for a couple of reasons. One – you have a six-month-old baby who isn’t sleeping well, and consequently neither is Olivia.”
“And the second?” Sebastian urged him to continue.
“She’s pregnant. Congratulations.” James slapped Sebastian on the back.
“What?” Sebastian couldn’t take it in.
“I had a test in my bag. It seemed logical to use it.” James shrugged his shoulders.
Sebastian shook his head. “Pregnant? Really? So soon?”
James laughed. “Yes. Really.”
