CHAPTER 73
Whilst Georgiana was in South Korea, the final planning meeting took place in Fiddlebury on a bitterly cold and rainy night.
“Full permission granted.” Keith Williams announced the decision of the FAB planning committee with a look of complete terror on his face. He stood back and cringed, waiting for the backlash to come at him with both barrels.
“Are you f*****g kidding me?” Sebastian yelled. “Bloody crooks, the lot of you.”
“I beg your pardon?” Keith Williams scowled at Sebastian. “I don’t like what you’re alluding to Mr Bloom. Are you saying we’ve been bought off?”
“If the cap fits,” Sebastian growled and stormed out of the council offices.
“You can’t do this,” Dee Dee shrieked.
“You rotten bastards,” Peter bellowed.
“We’re doomed,” Marjorie Rose squeaked.
