Blood, Power and Love

It been a while since the McFallen family had a gathering. They just moved to a new house and this means new neighbours and new friends. Ethan and his brothers are here with their sisters Phibby (20) and Steff, who is Colts twin sister (17). The McFallen Clan is a family of vampires, they use to be a very huge clan but due to wars they have with government and other species like Wolves, they decrease in numbers. The whole idea of moving to a new house was for the McFallen kids to adapt to the environment, as vampires, they tend to keep to themselves, not too communicative with their neighbours. Ethan is quiet then his brothers, not that they are talkative but he keeps his thoughts to himself rather than speaking out loud. The family's secret is to stay hiden because humans would be very angry if they were to find out that the McFallens were a family of vampires, so the family established rules for themselves so they can survive, this rules included only three rules, [1] never hunt during broad-day light, [2] never spend much time outside as the sun is not merciful for them, [3] never fall inlove with a human. These rules have kept them safe all this years. But like every other family, the McFallens have weaknesses and strengths, their weakness and strength is Ethan. One of the most powerful vampires on earth and the second rule did not apply to him as he can walk outside on broad-day light without any sun burns, Ethan is half vampire and half wolve, that makes him more dangerous and more powerful. Mr McFallen receives a message alert that his order was delivered, he is a veterinarian so he ordered for some medicine and injections. His left hand was holding a glass of wine. He put his phone back on his pocket and realises that Ethan is excusing himself , exiting the room, he looks at his wife Mrs McFallen and she realises his face looked worried, she walks towards him and asks him "are you okay" ?...Mr McFallen sips his glass of wine and replises "I hope this whole thing is gonna be worth it, moving here was a major step, and i hope that the boys will appreciate what we did..especially Ethan, because the idea of moving here was to protect him "....Mrs McFallen says "don't worry, the boys will be fine, they just need to adjust a little, but all will be normal in the next two to three weeks, and besides, we just moved in here, i think they should start going out locally, you know, go to the nearby grocery stores and be seen around so our neighbours will get to see them "..."I understand what you're saying but Ethan is the one who needs to go out more, Bradley, Colt, Kagan and Louis are fine..they never find any difficulty fitting in, " says Mr McFallen..." remember this time they promised to help Ethan "Mrs McFallen says "...." only if he wants to be helped..Ethan is difficult and we both know that the reason we are here is because non of us was able to control him, and that worries me a lot " says Mr McFallen...." you worry a lot, i think the best thing we can do as his parents is to support him, you know, let him know we are here if he needs us, then we stand back and watch him do things by himself, even the idea of the boys helping him does not sound right, they should let Ethan do things his way and maybe "....." mgghm ", Mr McFallen clear his throat to distract his wife as a man passes by next to them...he breathes in deepley and says..."we should talk about this some other time, I'll go and speak to Mr and Mrs Brown...our close by neighbours "..." okay, i will go to the kitchen and check if we still more doughnuts because we are running out of them"...she kisses her husband's chick and walk away. Louise saw Ethan living the room and few minutes later, he follows him. He finds him standing by the balcony, looking far as the snow falls to the ground, he stands next to him and asks..." hey...whats up...is everything okay ..or you still having those confusing dreams? "..." not for past two days..atleast " Ethan says .... "do you ever wonder how it felt to be cold, i can't even imagine my life like that, because this way, i love it "....Ethan looks at him, and then turns to continue with view and says "but who can ask to live the kind of life you live... not being able to walk on broad-day light during summer is nobody's wish, humans may feel all four seasons of the year but they seem happy "...." they're not happy, just that they have learned to accept it, because they know they can't do anything about it, you know...it amazes me how humans be little themselves, if they know what they are capable of, all the fear written in their eyes would be gone, and if you wanna see how fearful they are, talk to them, you will see it, ..the fear is right there in their eyes "says Louise... "but what if it the same fear that drives them, what does not kill you makes you stronger...Ethan says as he looks down in the entrance because they are standing on the second floor..some guests are just arriving..it a girl and her perents, her name is Dianne, she lives not too far from the McFallens home, the distance is walkable but a ride is preferable,...Ethan turns to look at Louise and says, " you mentioned I should speak to them if I wanna see the fear in their eyes..maybe I should start today ". they both smile and Ethan leaves, a second later, Louise follows...they both go down to the staires and Ethan sees Dianne with her parents Mr and Mrs Campell. As Ethan walks down the stairs..his eyes cannot look away from the beautiful girl who is standing next to the piano in the living room, admiring a framed drawing that's hanged on the wall. He takes the last step on the stairs and mistakenly bumpes to his sister, Phibby, spiling a wine to his shirt...Dianne turns as the incident catches the attention of everyone...Ethan and Dianne look at eachother, and Dianne quickly looks away. Phibby grabs a cloth hanging by the waiter's shoulder who is doing his job as the incident happens and wipes Ethan's shirt..." I'm so sorry Ethan...I'm very sorry"..." no it's okay...really Phibby leave it...I'm fine "...Mr McFallen walks towards them and asks Ethan to go change his shirt....Ethan walks up stairs to change, but still, as he walks up, he looks at Dianne and she looks back. Colt sees that and as he deep wonders of why would Ethan look at this girl as if he knew her, he get distracted by Emily, another neighbouring girl who always takes the attention to herself. Ethan get into his room..grabs a paper wipe...goes in to the bathroom and looks at himself in the mirror while he takes off his shirt...he washes his hands and on that moment... in his mind, the picture of Dianne is still there. He looks down on the bathroom sink and his face expresses that he finally remembered something..." it's the girl..now i know where I saw that face from, " Ethan walks out of the bathroom..opening his closet and grabs his drawing book..which he keeps as secret, it's where he draws down the images that appeare in his dreams, and Dianne's face is drawn in one of the pages. Ethan now knows where he saw her from..his priority was to know why she appeared in his dreams for multiple times, and this became his mission. The gathering is drawing to an end...Ethan needs to atleast find out where she stays...he decides to go back to the living room before Dianne leaves but, he is late...as his parents are just thanking their last guest to leave..which means Dianne is gone..he steps outside hoping he will see her but no..she is gone...he comes back into the house and his mother catches him first.." Ethan..honey can you help me with these tables..they need to go back to the baseroom "... Ethan does that without any questions but his mind is a little distracted...and it seemed he could use some time on his own...it was like he just saw someone he has not seen for years. In the following morning..Bradley wakes up first..knocks on his brother's rooms sayin "Wake up guys..santa Claus is here, as he passes by..well, Bradley usually does this.. must have something to say when he wakes up in the morning and his brothers have gotten used to it. The rest of the family is up and Mrs McFallen together with her daughters are setting a table for breakfast...they are all here except for Ethan.. Mrs McFallen asks " Brad..did you wake Ethan ?"..." Yea i did....he is probably still sleeping "responds Bradley ..." Ey that reminds me..did ya'll see Ethan acted weird last night...it was like something went wrong " Louise says" well...whatever was going on...it was really getting on him... " you know Ethan..he probably got disturbed by the girls he saw last night "says Kegan.." those girls really seem friendly..and i bet he also felt they were hot " ..he smiles "do you think Ethan even realised there were girls here ? "..Colt asking Steff says " He did..that i can bet...there was this girl who came by with her parents...i dont remember her name but Ethan couldn't stop looking at her " "do you really imply that Ethan fell inlove "...Bradley ,Colt and Kegan laugh..." or that he's got a crush " they continue laughing. " okay...whatever situation your brother was in last night...he is still your brothe..no metter what
