AUTHOR’S NOTES It was not easy to put the word END to this third volume of the historical saga I created and set in the 16th century Jesi. As usual, you can read this novel as a book in itself or as part of a series, of which we should have reached the last episode. Will there be a sequel? Who knows, never say never. Although the main protagonists of the work, including the printer, have left the scene, I have once again deliberately left windows open to possible evolutions of new adventures. We have a young Francesco Franciolini, but he will grow up and perhaps claim the titles he is entitled to.
