Chapter 9

(Lilith’s P.O.V)

I begin to stretch and yawn in my bed as I slowly wake up to the smell of coffee. I hear Alistairs voice greeting me with a fresh cup and I cannot help but smile with my eyes still closed. What time is it? “It is twelve thirty my darling”, I open my eyes in a state of panic. I have never slept in before; I get up and let my sheet fall from body and I hear Alistair start breathing heavy. Next thing I know I feel his arms around me as he gently kisses my mark and I moan in pleasure. Ali, I giggle, I need to get ready and I feel his teeth grazing my spot as I feel his hardened member against my backside… I begin to stutter as he starts kissing me up and down on my neck and gently bends me over, he slaps my ass and grabs it and I gasped but I feel myself getting wetter from it. I ask him to do it again, and when he does, I cannot help the feeling that consumes me. I hear him lower his pants, “You’re so f*****g gorgeous” as he bites my ass and I giggle. I feel the tip and I try to back up, but he holds me still. Ali, don’t tease me. Alistair begins to tease me with the tip, and I hear him moan, each time he teases me a little bit more making me moan in ecstasy.

Alistair begins going deeper and deeper with each thrust, and I feel like I am losing control of myself, Gaia is fighting to come out. He slaps my ass again making me back up into him hard where I yelp, and he hisses from how good it felt for him. I decide to take control and start backing into him in a rhythm that had us both moaning together. f**k, I do not want to c*m just yet… Gaia and I need him to fill us with his seed… I stop and turn a round and push him onto the bed and lower myself onto him. I begin to ride him while staring into his eyes and kissing him, he sits up without letting me slip out and begins to suck and bite on my n*****s. I start picking up my pace, we are both grunting like animals as I will not release him from my grasp.

I whisper in his ear and tell him what I want, and I feel my release nearing as I ride him vigorously - my juices begin to cover him and spill out onto the sheets, but I do not stop until he fills me up. Alistair begins to moan into my mouth telling me how good it feels and that he cannot hold back anymore, and I feel his warm seed inside me… We bot get up and we head to the shower, and I hear Alistair taking in my scent behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist and slowly coming up and massaging my breast. I show him his mark and grazes it with his teeth making me shiver.

I turn on the water and grab two towels, so they are ready for us. As I step in, I see Alistair staring at me and smiling, I smile back as he slowly approaches me. I start washing him starting with his chest and moving onto his arms and back. Gently massaging the soap onto him, “I love Lilith”, I love you too as I looked up into his eyes and see what looks like tears. Alistair, did you and any of the previously Lady Blackharts have any type of relationship. “No, when you first became of age, we met a couple of months after at a meeting regarding the war. Everyone one knew just by the way you entered the room, when we locked eyes we could not look away. The first topic to be discussed was that you and I were forbidden to be together… It was frowned upon and would destroy all efforts of the treaty we were working towards.”

I keep washing him and letting him tell me our first story. “That did not stop us spending time with each other, building a relationship, friendship, finding ways our species may live in peace, one day. We would sneak about just to have some privacy, and that night I made the decision to ask you to be mine, I did not care about the rules. Once the first Lady’s father found out he had a marriage arranged and invited me to watch her take someone else.” Alistair rinses off and begins to wash my body. “The chosen mate she had to wed did not care about a treaty, did not care about her, only the war. One night she sent a letter telling me how cruel he was and caused her to have miscarriage. My heart that did not beat was breaking for her…

I received more letters from her sharing details on how he was going to attack the elders at a meeting so they could not form a treaty to end the war. I warned them and they did not listen, months went by of endless bloodshed. One day on the battlefield her husband was going to execute three high ranking elders from each council… She intervened which brought the fighting to stop, all around use we saw her lay down her life for a cause.

She slayed her husband, saves the council members and as I ran to her, I saw how fatal her injuries were… A witch tried to heal her but to no avail. As everyone watched as we confessed our love to each other right before she died in my arms. Her sacrifice formed the Noapte Treaty and allowing supernatural creatures love who they loved.” The others was late in saving or just watched over them, for the gods and goddesses said it was not time.”

I start crying as he rinses me off and holds me tight saying he would never let anything happen to me. I look up at him as he turns the water off and say, I told the stars about you and they told me to love you with every fiber in my body. Alistair kisses me passionately and my stomach growls, and I realized for the first time in ages he would be able to eat an actual meal. After we finished up in the shower, I start getting ready as well as Alistair, I take the sheets off my bed and put them in the laundry chute and open the windows so that my room can air out. “Let’s get some breakfast into you, darling.”

We head downstairs where everyone begins cheering as they see I am marked by my mate. Cassandra and my family are already planning the wedding, an omega walks up to me with a picnic basket and says she packed everything so I can escape the craziness, I give her a hug and grab Alistair’s arm as I rush us out. Abraham and Augustus was waiting outside to interrogate my Alistair, but ended up really liking him, and I could not help but giggle. As we start heading out to the fields, we are all enjoying the breeze, but I notice Alistair is standing still, eyes closed and taking in the sun.

Abraham asks how long it has been, and he says he lost count with a tear falling from his eye. Augustus runs up and picks him up and says, “as your brother-in-law we have a lot to get you caught up on!” They start to wrestle, and Abraham and I are laughing. Once they left, we sat down under my favorite tree in the flower garden and I watch him try food and he is laughing with each bite. I never knew someone could bring me such joy, for someone who has been around for an awfully long time he seems so young at heart now. I tackle him and plant kisses all over his face and he does the same. We laid in the sun and I read to him until he was ready to head back.

We get up to head to the house because I wanted to take him swimming. On our way to the house, we bumped into Arthur who was smiling. He looks up and we just stare at each other and he apologizes to Alistair and myself, which caught me off guard. I then see he notices that Alistair and I marked each other and congratulates us both and wishes us the best. Why are you acting strange Arthur? “I found my mate, and I will be escorting her tonight to the ball. I smile and congratulate him and for once in his life he seemed happy. Which gave me a relief, I do not have to worry about him anymore. Alistair gives him his best wishes and looks forward to seeing them tonight, am I seeing this right? They are getting along, which I am grateful for, it is simply weird…  We say our goodbyes as it begins to pour out of nowhere and we head back to the packhouse. The hair stylist and make up artist always comes early due to the amount of people getting ready. Alistair mentions he must pick something up from Bella and speak to Vincent, so I let him know where I will be. We give each other another deep passionate kiss and part ways.  I decide to go see how everything was coming along and how my mother was doing, I mind link her and she is in the Lunas office while Cassandra is assisting Bella. I see the door is open and head in, Mother I will be in my room tidying up and preparing for the hair dresser and make-up artist. "Sounds wonderful my dear, before you go, how is communicating with your wolf been?"

Ah, it' still slightly painful but she knows so much,  so we are taking slowly especially after our first shift, I smile and Gaia is purring in my mind. My mother gets up and gives me one of her bear hugs, "That is wonderful Lilith." Mom, you. are. crushing. me... She lets out a laugh and smothers me in kisses. "How was your first night married?" I see gives me a devilish smile and push her away, mom! If you must know, it's everything you said it would be when you talked about the mate bond! I begin twirling and I hear her laughter again. The gods and goddesses really did give me an amazing birthday present. I will do everything in my power to ensure I protect and honor the supernatural world and their ways, I say with determination. "Lilith, I like this side of you, I have a gift for you. I wanted to wait after your birthday but I believe you deserve to see it now. Come with me!" 

My mother grabs me by the hand and leads me out of Cassandras office, up the stairs to a locked room on my floor. Wait, we never get to go into this room, why are we here? "Sweetie, there are things passed down to females on your fathers side of the family, and this is one of them. Always given to the Lady on her eighteenth birthday. I will say, some of it has been hard to find but once we found them, they were give as gifts." I see her take out a skeleton key and she places it the keyhole, my hearts begins to race. It felt like forever once the door was open I went in. 

Paintings, dresses, books, a suit of armor, weapons, trunks a desk that my great grandmother used and on it was a journal that said my name in in gold cursive. Tears and memories begin to flood black like a tidal wave. 

Lilith, it is okay to feel these emotions. I feel them every lifetime and I am always with you, literally every step of the way.

Thank you Gaia, I am just surprised at all of this. It's like I am seeing it for the first time but I have these memories... I clutch the locket around my neck and thank the gods and goddesses. Mother if you do not mind I think I will be in here cleaning up a bit. If you could tell my husband where I am if he asks, I chuckle. "Of course, dear. Do not forget you still have to prepare for you party." I see her exit the room and I close the door behind me and get to work.
