Prologue
The Forgotten Legend
Long before borders were drawn across the land…before modern packs claimed territory… before alliances, rivalries, and politics shaped the world as it is known today…
there existed four great clans.
They were not merely wolves living together for protection or survival.
They were kingdoms chosen by the Moon Goddess herself, each gifted with unique strengths meant to preserve balance across the world.
Each clan represented something greater than power.
They represented harmony.
They represented order.
They represented the delicate connection between strength and restraint.
For centuries, the four clans existed not as enemies, but as guardians of the earth itself.
Each ruled their lands with pride.
Each honoured the sacred laws written in the stars.
Each believed their loyalty to the Moon Goddess would protect them from the darkness beyond the world they knew.
But even the strongest empires are not immune to fate.
The North – Kingdom of Ice
In the far North, where winter ruled without mercy and glaciers carved their slow paths through ancient mountains, lived the warriors of ice.
The cold was relentless, biting through skin and bone alike, yet the wolves of the North thrived within it. Their thick coats protected them from the unforgiving winds, their massive forms built for endurance in a land where only the strongest survived.
Their eyes glowed an unnatural shade of ice blue, bright against the endless white landscape. It was said their gaze could freeze weaker wolves in place, forcing submission without a single growl.
Strength was their language.
Survival was their inheritance.
Their Alpha was Aeron, a leader whose legend stretched far beyond the frozen borders of his territory.
He was a giant among men, towering above even the largest warriors of his clan. His long black hair fell down his back like a dark waterfall, often braided with symbols of ancient victories. His presence alone commanded silence.
But it was his eyes that made even seasoned warriors lower their heads.
Eyes that seemed capable of seeing through lies.
Through fear.
Through weakness.
Eyes that held the wisdom of centuries.
Under his command stood ten thousand warriors, trained from childhood to fight in conditions that would cripple lesser packs. Each warrior was taught discipline before pride, loyalty before ambition.
The North did not seek war.
But no one dared bring war to them.
The East – Kingdom of Sand
Far across the world, where scorching sun and the strong winds shaped endless dunes of golden sand, lived the warriors of the East.
Their territory was hidden within the desert, protected by illusions of shifting landscapes and storms that erased all trace of passage. Outsiders could wander for weeks and never find the heart of their kingdom.
The wolves of the East bore coats of deep copper and crimson, blending seamlessly into the desert environment. Their movements were silent, precise, almost ghostlike.
They did not rely on brute strength.
They relied on patience.
Strategy.
Precision.
They were hunters who did not need to chase.
Their prey came to them.
Their Alpha, Haydon, was known across the lands as the Silent Executioner.
He was neither the largest nor the loudest of leaders, but his mind was sharper than any blade carried by his warriors.
Haydon believed in control.
Control of emotion.
Control of movement.
Control of outcome.
It was said he could predict an enemy’s strike before the weapon even moved.
Those foolish enough to trespass into Eastern lands rarely returned alive.
Those who did were sent back as warnings.
A single message written in silence.
The desert does not forgive.
The desert does not forget.
The South – Kingdom of Storms
To the South, the skies rarely rested.
Thunder rolled endlessly across wide valleys, rain feeding powerful rivers that carved paths through the land. Lightning split the heavens with violent beauty, illuminating warriors who moved faster than the eye could track.
The wolves of the South were unmatched in speed.
Their bodies seemed built from wind itself, capable of striking before enemies even realised danger had arrived.
Their howls travelled across the valleys like haunting songs carried by storms.
Some believed those howls could influence the weather itself.
Others believed the weather simply obeyed their Alpha.
Storm.
He was not born with that name.
He earned it.
Chaos lived within him, not as recklessness, but as power barely contained.
His grey eyes flashed like lightning before thunder.
Unpredictable.
Fierce.
Unstoppable.
Storm did not fear destruction.
He commanded it.
His warriors followed him into battle without hesitation, trusting that even chaos could serve purpose.
Under his rule, the South became both feared and respected.
Because even the most peaceful sky can become deadly when provoked.
The West – Kingdom of Forest and River
In the West, life flourished beneath towering trees older than memory.
Rivers cut through deep forests, nourishing land rich with life and abundance. Sunlight filtered through thick canopies, painting shifting patterns across moss-covered earth.
The wolves of the West were known not only for skill, but for balance.
They were the most agile of all clans, able to scale trees in seconds, move silently across branches, and strike from heights unseen.
Their connection to nature was unmatched.
Their senses attuned to every movement of wind and water.
Their Alpha was Darius, a leader whose strength came not only from power, but from wisdom.
While other clans ruled through dominance or fear, Darius ruled through unity.
His warriors were known as the most elite not only because of skill, but because of loyalty.
Their hearts were as strong as their claws.
Their eyes shone with intelligence and compassion.
They understood that true power came not from ruling others…
but from protecting them.
The Balance
For centuries, the four clans lived in harmony.
Each respected the boundaries placed between them.
Each honoured the sacred law given by the Moon Goddess.
No clan sought control over another.
No clan attempted domination.
Together, they created balance across the lands.
Where one pack lacked strength, another provided protection.
Where one faced hardship, another offered support.
The world existed in equilibrium.
Until something ancient awakened.
The Demon of the Deep
From beneath the earth…
from fires untouched by moonlight…
from a realm where even wolves dared not speak its name…
something rose.
It was neither wolf nor man.
It was something older.
Something born from hatred older than memory.
The Demon.
It did not want territory.
It did not want power.
It wanted annihilation.
Entire villages vanished overnight.
Rivers turned red.
Forests burned until ash fell like snow.
Creatures once believed immortal fell screaming into darkness.
The four clans, once united, began to fracture beneath pressure of fear and desperation.
Trust became suspicion.
Suspicion became blame.
Blame became division.
And division gave the Demon exactly what it needed.
War.
The Great Sundering.
A war so devastating it nearly erased wolfkind entirely.
Ancient bloodlines disappeared.
Entire clans were lost to history.
Knowledge passed down through generations vanished into silence.
The Moon Goddess watched as her children turned against one another…
and the world fell into chaos.
The Prophecy
Yet even in destruction…
hope remained.
Ancient seers whispered of a vision.
A child born long after the war.
A soul carrying the strength of all four clans.
One heart capable of unity.
One spirit strong enough to restore balance.
The Forgotten One.
Raised without knowing their true origin.
Hidden from enemies who would destroy them before their power awakened.
A warrior thought to have no wolf.
A leader without a crown.
A soul shaped by hardship instead of privilege.
It was said this child would not resemble the great Alphas of old.
Would not be raised in luxury or protected by bloodline.
Instead…
they would rise from struggle.
From loneliness.
From resilience.
Because only one who has known emptiness can truly value connection.
Only one who has known rejection can truly unite others.
Only one who has fought alone can lead many.
The prophecy spoke of four guardians.
Four warriors bound by destiny.
Four souls created to stand beside the Forgotten One.
Together, they would carry the legacy of the ancient clans.
Together, they would end what the Demon began.
Together, they would restore balance to the world.
The Moon Goddess did not abandon her children.
She prepared them.
Because when darkness rises…
so too does the one destined to destroy it.
And this time…
the four clans will not stand divided.
This time…
they will rise as one.
