The Night of Marks Hailey The celebration continued long into the night. Music drifted through the streets of Silvermoon. Laughter echoed from the gardens. Moonlight danced across silver rooftops and crystal towers. For the first time in centuries, the lost city lived again. Yet despite the celebration surrounding me, I found myself standing alone on one of the Citadel balconies. The cool night breeze lifted strands of my dark hair. Far below, lanterns illuminated the streets. Families danced. Children ran through the squares. Warriors shared stories around great fires. Silvermoon rejoiced. But my heart felt strangely quiet.
