King Magnus POV
“After dinner, bring James, his mate, and that daughter. Put them in chains in the courtyard. And assemble the entire pack. I want them all to witness what happens when you break my laws.” Magnus says looking across his desk at Cedric.
“It will be done, Sire.” He replies by taking his leave.
Magnus gets up and walks across the room and looks out of the window. He scans the tree line, waiting to see his warriors return from checking on her. Suddenly he sees two wolves, one gold and the other silver with black legs. He turns to walk back to the desk as they stop before the trees end and shift back into human form.
Nicolai and Rolf head for the pack house. “Let’s clean up and then meet up down here.” Rolf says as they walk up to the door.
