Chapter Two

2101 Words
Ambrosia POV:     I had just gotten home from taking the kids to school and I needed to change out of my comfortable clothes and in to something a little more professional. "Kids get there easily?" Jackson asked stepping out of the bathroom. "Yes, they were more than excited to go." I laughed. "And how about the triplets? Is it getting any easier for you?" Jackson asked hugging me. "One day at a time right." I whispered. It's been so hard for me to break away from them, I remember going through it with Artemis and Ari but now I had three I had to get through at once and it was a little harder than I thought it would. I stepped in the closet and changed in to my normal black jeans with a tank top just in case. I've been keeping my hair back and braided because it is just easier for me that way. "Tye and Pythia are on their way here." Jackson called out pulling me from my thoughts. I grabbed my boots and slid them on before I walked back out. "So who are we going to see first?" Jackson asked. "Bailey and Serrian first, then the others. I figured since they are smaller we could get a feel of how everything is before moving on to the bigger side." I replied.      I finished putting my boots on and stood up. "Any chance we can check on the triplets first?" I asked feeling the need to see them. "No need, I did and took pictures while I dropped the kids off." Pythia said walking in waving her phone around. I smiled at her, of course she would know that I would want to go and check on them. She handed me her phone and I scrolled through the pictures looking at the helpers that Beth had, the kids were smiling and looked happy. "They are fine Ambrosia I promise. Beth would murder someone if they so much as upset one of the kids." Pythia whispered. I laughed to myself because it was true, that was one of the first things little Beth made very clear to all her new workers. "Alright, let's go so we can get back." I said handing Pythia her phone back. "Bailey first?" Pythia asked. I nodded my head grabbing on to Jacksons hand. "Away we go." Pythia laughed before teleporting us to the east side coven and packs. I landed on top and Jackson and we rolled backwards a little. "s**t. My nuts." Jackson wheezed out making me laugh. "You couldn't have waited until we stood up." I said looking at Pythia. "Where would the fun in that be?" She laughed helping me up.      I shook my head, stood up and went to help Jackson while Tye was busy laughing. "Are you okay?" I asked. "You won't be making anymore babies now will you." Tye laughed. I glared at him while Jackson swung his arm out hitting him square in his family jewels sending him to the ground. "AH b***h!" Tye yelled rolling around on the ground. "Children, we are married to children." Pythia said shaking her head. "Glad to see that it isn't just the wolves here that do that." Bailey laughed making us look up. "I don't know why they do it to each other, how are you darling?" I asked hugging her. "We are really good actually. How are things on your side?" Bailey asked. "Better, we have a meeting later with the other guardians." I replied. "You all remember Pythia and her husband Tye oh and my brother Xander back there." I said pointing at everyone. "We do, come we already have the paper work ready for you all." Bailey said turning on her heels. I was excited to see what it all looked liked since they started building and joining together. I looked around and noticed we were walking on a new clean cut walkway with flowers and plants lining the sides of them. The trees that were close were all nicely trimmed and some houses were unfinished but had the supplied laying around it.      The houses that were done, were more like little upscale huts. they were really trying to blend in with everything. "Has anyone spotted any infected creatures?" I asked while we walked up. "No, the guardians we have here have been scouting like crazy and the witches have been doing hourly checks on the grounds to make sure the ground is holding the spells but they've taught us how to make the pills so we are well stocked up on those." Bailey replied with a smile on her face. "It sounds like everything is going well. Any fights?" Jackson asked. "No sir, we had a few bumps to work our way through but I feel like we got it all settled now." Bailey replied. "That is good to hear. Where are the alphas?" Jackson asked. "They are in the main building, take this path on the left and follow it all the way down." Bailey replied. Jackson nodded and pulled Tye with him. "Where is Jenny?" Pythia asked. "This way." Bailey said walking forward. "What about jobs and the humans?" I asked. "We hired some um.. construction workers? I think that is what they are called. Anyways, they've been doing a really good job and actually talking to everyone so that is nice." Bailey replied.      Things were smoothing out a lot better than I thought they would this soon. "Ah, Pythia! So wonderful to see you." Jenny said wrapping Pythia up in a hug. "It's nice to see you as well, I see you have some news to share with us." Pythia said looking down at her belly. "I see Braxton is treating you well." I smiled. It had been forever since I had seen Braxton but I was happy that the two of them found each other. "About four months now, only a couple more to go. We are about to have a meeting with the alphas, I'm assuming you guys are coming." Jenny said. "Of course we are, do you have the paper work ready to go?" Pythia asked. "Yes ma'am, Rachel has the file there ready to go." Jenny replied. As we walked forward I took notice of the larger house that they were talking about earlier. When we walked in everything on the inside of it was made out of stained wood, it smelled nice, it was all clean and very organized. I was really impressed with all of it. "There they are, we had been waiting." Tye said. "Yes, let's get it started. Paper work first." Jackson added. Bailey handed me a file and I opened it. It was neatly organized and even had tabs of where to go. I sat down on the couch and read through all of it.      She had everyones names and where they were living, how many people lived in the house and how much it all cost to build and fully stock all of it. "Is this the amount that is left over?" I asked pointing at the end results. "No, that is just the budget for the year, once we calculated everything we figured out a budget so we don't over spend on anything." Bailey replied. "That and we thought we would tuck some away for parties or weddings or something, it's on page five." Jenny said flipping the pages in Pythias file. "What about you guys?" Jackson asked. "We are in charge of the put back funds, last page." Alpha Xavier replied. "Good, we heard there was no fighting and you guys brought in construction workers and all. Keep it up." Jackson replied. "Where did Xander go?" Xavier asked. "He is talking with his guardians." I replied still reading over everything. "They don't really talk all that much, is that normal?" Xavier asked. "Yes, you all have to work at their trust, start off small then work your way up." I replied with a small smile. I knew they would act like this, they aren't use to being around people anymore. Time is all they need to get situated. "All of this looks really good. Are there any pressing matters that we need to know about?" Pythia asked looking around.      No one said anything and I smiled, "Keep in contact as usual. If an infected is spotted call us immediately, I would say if you need money call us but it seems you guys have figured it all out." I added standing to my feet just in time for Xander to walk through the door. "News on your side?" I asked. "Everything is fine, no tracks, no markings or anything like that and they haven't picked up any odd scents so I think it is safe to say they haven't come out this far but I told them to keep looking but also to start taking shifts, have dinners, mingle with everyone." Xander replied. "Appreciate the help on that one, Braxton has been trying to get them in and every now and then." Jenny said shrugging their shoulders. "You all just have to remember that they have been isolated from everyone for a very long time. They'll come around." I replied. "We will be back next month unless something happens but we will let all of you know." I added. "Until next month." Bailey replied just before we all teleported to our next location. Luka and Senna were already waiting for us. "Thought you guys would have been here earlier." Luka said. "Took a little longer than I thought, is everyone ready?" I asked. "Yes, right this way." Senna said.      The area looked better, cleaned up looked more spacious than it had. "Where are the guardians?" Xander asked. "Funny you should ask, we caught an infected." Luka said making us all stop. "Where?" Xander asked. "About fifty or so miles out, wasn't heading here though." Senna replied. "Go, fill me in later." I said looking over my shoulder at Xander, he nodded once before he ran off. "Jason and Bobby inside?" Tye asked. "Yes, it'll be just us. I'll explain in a moment." Luka replied. As we walked in side I could see workers trying to finish up their projects. "Let's not make this too long." Luka said pushing doors open revealing alpha Jason and Bobby who was helping Dan over see the dark witches. Bobby had long red hair with blue eyes, beautiful young woman. "We have everything here ready to go. We didn't know how much time we would have. It's been a little tense since the infected was caught." Bobby said handing us three files. "We can look at all of this when we get back home, just give us the run down." Pythia replied. "We coordinated with the others and came up with the same type of budget but everyone here preferred  to live closer together so that is what we have been doing. We are keeping the children right in the middle so they are surrounded at all times." Jason replied. "The grounds are protected so don't worry, we have even added a little boost to it and keeping up the stock on all of the pills." Bobby added.      I looked at Luka and Senna to see if they wanted to add anything else before the doors opened. "The infected girl is dead, it's nasty looking too." Xander said shaking his head. "What do you mean?" I asked. "It's like she melted, it stinks but nothing we can do about it now, guardians will keep their patrols but I told them to get with the witches so they can arm themselves with something just in case." Xander replied. "I'll let Dan know. It was lovely seeing you all." Bobby said before walking out. "Sorry we don't have that much time to give." Senna said quickly. "No, that is alright, we are just glad to see all of you on top of things, we will leave you all be but I will call and check in later." I replied stepping back. "Talk soon." Jason said before we teleported back home. This was the first time in a couple months that we had spotted an infected, I just hoped Alley and the others had some sort of plan....... ***Hey guys, sorry there was no update yesterday but I was a little under the weather and slept all day.
