Seo and Kris started to panic as there was only 30 seconds left and the score was 5-0 .Countdown started "10.....9.......8....." but Janet still didn't give up, she stood and took her fighting position, seeing that Victoria got mad and raised her leg for a roundhouse kick (Dollyo Chagi) but surprisingly, Janet pushed her kick anti clock wise and this made Victoria more furious that she used back kick (Dui chagi) but Janet dodged it and to Victoria's surprise, Janet used the Roundhouse kick that landed on Victoria's face but that wasn't enough, she then used the hammer kick(Neryo chagi) and then again the side kick. This made Victoria lose a little conscious and she fell a couple of seconds later. The countdown started.."10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3..2...1 and KO"
The referee declared Janet winner.
The girls cheered and congratulated.
It was time for the awards ceremony.
They altogether got 3 gold medals, 5 silver and two bronze. It was time to announce the best fighters for both girls and boys categories.
"For the girls' category, the best fighter trophy goes to.... Janet Davis"
"Yayyy go girl"
"You did it"
"Proud of you"
*claps*
Janet was shocked for once. She went and received the award and was about to leave when the cameraman stopped her saying to wait for the boys category results so that they can take photos.
"For boys' category, the best fighter trophy goes to....Lucas Miller"
Janet exchanged glances with Kris and Seo being surprised. She shivered hearing the name she just heard. A tall familiar figure appeared from behind the crowds.
"Sh*t!" she thought,
Kris and Seo looked surprised as well.
Janet again turned towards Kris and Seo still confused.
It was the same guy from before whom the girls saved from getting bullied by those punks, and now WOW he's here receiving the best fighter award.
"What a joke!" Janet thought.
Lucas arrived on stage and received the award. Janet stood there staring at Lucas still shocked. "Miss, are you going to kill him with your stare?" said the cameraman to Janet.
Janet hadn't realized that she was on stage and staring at Lucas that way.
So embarrassing! she thought as the photographer asked both Janet and Lucas to stand together for a photo. Janet still had a confused face, so the photographer asked her to give a smile.
After the photo, Janet went down the stage. Her friends were as confused as she was.
"Isn't he the guy...." she was interrupted by Kris,
"We saved that night...?"
"The guy who was being bullied?" added Seo.
"Yes!!! he's the best fighter? how's that possible?" said Janet.
"Are you talking about that hot guy Lucas?" asked Lucy.
"Yes Lucy, do you know him?" asked Seo.
"Yes he just struggled in the final match to eij his opponent and I swear he was so hot when he was drenched in sweat!" added Lucy.
The girls looked at each other surprised. Not only the that they had saved them that day shocked them, but his name....Lucas...
"Could it be that Lucas?" said Janet with a hopeful look on her face.
"Maybe, or maybe not!" answered Kris.
The three girls stared at Lucas as he was with his friends. Alina noticed all of these and went to Janet and said,
"You're guessing it correct!"
The girls had questions on their faces.
"I am Alice in Dreamlands" said Alina. They hadn't recovered from the first shock and that was another shocking news for the girls.
"Alice?" muttered Janet.
"Yes, the same Alice who disclosed your identity to Emma " replied Alina. The thoughts in the minds of the girls were still processing.
"I'm sorry Janet, Emma said me that you're a bad person and asked me to keep eye on you, that's how I found out that you're viola and then we planned to kick you out of the clan" said Alina with a guilty expression.
"Oh so its you, never thought we'd be from the same school." replied Janet smiling.
"You're not angry?" asked Alina with a surprised look on her face.
"Its ok, everything is in the past now, what's more important is that you know your mistake, just don't repeat it again" said Janet .
"I knew it that very moment you helped me yesterday that you're a good person" said Alina
"Our Janet is a super kind girl, who gets bullied by that fox girl Emma"said Seo.
"Yeah Emma and her two followers" added Kris
"And what were you talking about before Alina?" asked Janet.
"Oh! I was saying that this is that same Lucas in the game"
"In fact, Emma asked me to make sure to lock you inside the room during the award ceremony so that you don't hear his name or recognize him" said Alina.
"That b**ch!" yelled Kris.
"Keep your voice low" reminded Janet.
"Seriously Emma did that? but she never expected that Lucas and Emma would would be awarded together" said Kris
"And here, this photo would definitely make Emma mad "Seo showed the photo of Janet and Lucas that she had snapped before. Seo showed the photo of the two.
"Ay the best match" said Kris.
"Its all fate and timing that you two met here" said Alina.
Janet blushed. Just then the winner team of the event was announced.
"With each of 10 participants with one medals each, 3 gold, 5 silver and 3 bronze medals along with one of the two best fighters, 'Shanghai International School' please come and receive your award, the speaker announced. Everyone got excited and ran to the stage along with their instructor. There was no limit to their happiness at that moment. Their instructor asked the leader Melissa to hold the award in behalf of the whole team and she was happy hearing that.
Now it was the last night for them in Beijing. The organizer had held a special farewell party for everyone there. Everyone arrived in the party hall. Janet wore a pretty black sleeveless dress which made her look sexy in the party hall. Lucas wore a black suit with a red tie and with left over hairstyle, looking a pure gentleman, was standing on the left side of the stage with his two friends. Alina then whispered,
"The guy with brown suit on the left side of Lucas is Ian and the right side is Will"
"I forgot to ask you, how do you know them with their faces?" asked Janet.
"You know what a show off girl is Emma, it was her who showed us their photos, here, I think I still have it" replied Alina .
Just then Ian approached them and said,
"Hi , you're Janet, right?"
"Yes and you are?" replied Janet as if she doesn't know him.
"I am Ian, from the runners up team"
"Would you mind to be friends?" asked Ian.
"Of course I'd love to be friends with you" replied Janet.
"But only friends,don't expect more, my bestie has someone else in her heart" said Kris.
They giggled.
"So let's add each other on we chat new friend?" said Ian.
"Sure"
They added each other on We chat.
Just then, Janet noticed Lucas was staring at her as he was approaching them.
