As Lucas approached Janet, she could feel her heart beating heavily. Those eyes ,that stare, his smile and that perfectly matched suit made him look so perfect, a total gentleman, totally different from the night they met. Janet forgot everything for a moment, omg he's so perfect, thought Janet. She could stare him for hours just like that. She completely forgot about that mean and rude Lucas in game who was the husband of the meanest girl. She was sweetly dreaming in the world of her thoughts when suddenly Kris patted her and she came back to her senses. She got startled when she saw Lucas standing right in front of her.
"Are you ok?" asked Lucas.
"Ah yes, sorry for that" said the awkward Janet.
"Janet! right?" asked Lucas again.
"Yes, do you know me?" replied Janet.
"Ah not really but I kind of thought that I've seen you before, have we met before?" asked Lucas.
"Yes!" shouted Janet happily and she got a shoulder push from Kris with a stare.
"Ah I mean no...no...yeah haha" said Janet again. She was awkward again.
"Haha, okay, thought so" replied Lucas.
Just then Lucas saw Alina, whom he recognized as Alice,
"Hey! Its Alice right?"
"Yes Lucas, you look exactly like in the photo" replied Alina.
"Haha yeah, you too" said Lucas
"So, Emma?" asked Alina pointing at Janet.
"No no she's not haha" replied Alina.
"So you are? in the game? do you play Dreamlands?" asked Lucas to Janet.
Janet didn't know how to answer, just then Alina said,
"She doesn't play Dreamlands, by the way haven't you and Emma met yet ?" asked Alina changing the topic and she succeeded in doing that.
"No! she said she will but she hasn't yet, I am so curious to see how pretty she is!" replied Lucas.
Emma had always made an excuse when Lucas asked to meet up as she was still busy flirting with other men.
To this, Janet was upset .Hearing about Emma made her realize that she has no chance when Emma's around as Emma was considered the goddess of beauty in the school. Janet felt uncomfortable and Alina saw that and said,
"Anyways these things shouldn't be here in this place, we should just enjoy"
Seo and Ian were already holding hands by then and Kris was busy on video call with Ryan.
The organizer then welcomed everyone to the farewell party and announced that they will be having a ball dance. The music was already playing in the background. The stage lights were turned off and a melodic song started playing. Everyone found their partners for the dance. Seo and Ian were already dancing. Kris was also asked by a guy and so she was dancing. Janet was asked by few guys but she refused them as Lucas was also not with a partner Just then Alina saw Lucas and Will standing and asked Will to dance with her and he agreed leaving Janet and Lucas alone. They were awkwardly standing beside each other. Kris saw that when she and her dace partner came close to the, she intentionally pushed Janet towards Lucas and Janet fell over Lucas. Janet and Lucas both turned red with embarrassment as all eyes were on them. Their hearts were beating heavily as the stood up. Seeing this, Kris looked at her dance partner and they both laughed. To save them from more awkwardness, Lucas asked Janet for a dance,
"May I?"
Janet agreed and offered her right had into his hand. She felt as if lightening had struck her when Lucas put his had on her stiff waist. They both were lost in each other's eyes dancing in a music that was already too romantic. It was strange but somehow they both felt connected to each other as if they had known each other their whole lifetime. Kris called Seo and pointed at Janet and Lucas who were unbothered dancing. Seo then called Alina who then called Melissa, who then called Lucy who was also busy with a guy she had met the day earlier. Like that everyone's eyes again fell on the couple who looked perfect with each other. Also due to the reason they were the best fighters, all the couples decided to quit the dance, leaving them both in the center of the hall dancing with the spot light on them. Suddenly the music stopped and a big round of applause was heard. Lucas as Janet then stopped to see everyone looking at them. Then the organizer said on mic,
"Wow what a lovely couple would they make"
Janet blushed at this.
It was the dinner time. Janet and her friends were having dinner, when someone patted on Janet's shoulder. It was Victoria,
"Hey Janet!"
"Hi Victoria! have you already had dinner?"
"Yeah done, I just wanted to have a talk with you, so may I?" asked Victoria.
"Have a seat" said Janet.
"It was nice meeting you, though it was our short and first meet, next time let's do a healthy competition" said Victoria.
"Yeah! I hope that too" added Melissa.
"Yes, I'd love to" replied Janet.
"I would love taking a picture with you and Melissa" said Victoria again.
The three took pictures together for a memory. Victoria then asked,
"So miss tough and beauty, did you already find a tough handsome guy?" teased Victoria.
"Ah no, just friends" replied Janet with a smile.
"Just friends!!?" grinned Alina.
"Ahem! Victoria, maybe later when you meet us again, they would be a couple already" said Kris.
"Ay girl wish you luck! I'll see y'all soon" said Victoria and left.
"If she's not your opponent, she's a sweet girl" said Janet while others agreed.
Everyone then departed to their respective rooms as they were exhausted and had to prepare for tomorrow's journey back. Back in the room, Janet couldn't stop thinking of the moment she danced with Lucas. The next day everyone was getting ready to leave. Victoria waved the girls and went first. Janet and her team was also about to go, when Emma suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
