Somehow, they didn't get to the coastal city of Evergate till the day was far spent, the rest of the journey was continued in carriages. A carriage had been sent to fetch them to Heartpelt where the army held their main base, there were many of such now scattered around the North due to the presence of the magical creatures. Before all that, there was only one in a chosen city at each cardinal point and then the headquarters was situated at the Capital under the supervision of His Royal Majesty, the King.
