“Ethel, you are burning the sword!” Gale called in a panic. In her rage, she had not noticed when her magic had spilled out, fire spurting free of her hands and consuming the sword. In his haste to help, he used his magic, a gust of wind which only worsened the situation. “Don’t use wind to put out a wood fire, fool.” Firn stepped in calmly, putting out the fire. The flaming sword had fallen to the ground, some of the non-Mages around had stepped back in consternation.
