They decided to walk back towards the house as the booths of the day were closing down to prepare for the evening portion of the event. Jax was out cold in Corey’s arms by the time they all reached the house again. Anna slipped his little shoes off as Mandy laid out a blanket and pillows on the front room sofa for him to nap on. It was only 5 pm but with all the activity of the day, Anna was certain he would either sleep through until the next day or wake for an hour only to fall asleep again shortly after. Since he was already asleep Anna told Charlie she didn’t mind if they stayed for the dinner so long as Jax could keep sleeping.
