    I wasn't expecting much since Dominic had described it as a small and quant setting and I finally believed him as we we travelled through quite a small town that looked like it came out of an old western movie. As we made our way through the small town I noticed a few obviously local owned shops scattered through out the mainly one story houses and a small park area, but that was about it, at least until we took a sharp turn and headed down a practically abandoned dirt road. 

    I was pleasantly surprised when we pulled up at a very large two story town house. It seemed so different from the one's in town, but the six made since with the many cars that sat out front. It was common for the alpha to have at least a couple close betas around just incase things were to go south, but this obviously wasn't just a couple people and I knew I was being to wishful in hoping that most of the vehicles belonged to people who were just visiting for my arrival. I knew that was too naïve of a thought though seeing as to them I was just a random girl being brought into the pack, not their Alphas new mate.

    "You ready?" Dominic asked as he parked the truck and looked over at me.

    "As ready as I'll ever be" I answered honestly, before he turned the truck off and climbed out. With a deep breath I followed his suite, not waiting for him to open the door for me this time, which earned me a grunt of annoyance which I just rolled my eyes at. "You can't expect me to let you do everything for me." 

    "Like hell I can't" He chuckled as he pulled a couple of my bags from the back of the truck and lead the way towards the door.

    "I don't think I quite like your Alpha attitude" I stated as I followed him "Almost as little as I'm gonna like adjusting to staying with this many people."

    "It's not all that bad, there's plenty of company yes, but you'll never get bored. Most of the people staying here too are good people. The men I trust most and some of their wives. I'm sure they'll be at least one person you can get alone with" He explained as he sat one of the suitcases down and grabbed the door handle. "Just breathe it's gonna be okay, just trust me."

    "Because it's just that easy" I say with another eye roll right as he opens the door and reaches down to grab my other suit cases. Letting out a sigh I follow him inside and almost instantly regret it. We're met by a world of commotion. The kitchen and living area is full of people. Someone I very clearly at work making supper, because the house smells absolutely amazing. a couple of women are sat at the counter in mid-conversation, some how ignoring the two men wrestle in the living room floor over god knows what as a few others cheer them on. "So it's not that bad huh?"

    "For f***s sake" he mumbles under his breath. "I leave ya'll alone for not even a whole f*****g day and this is what I come home too. Since when was my house deemed a wrestling wring?" He booms over the group of people, causing everyone to stop instantly and turn our way. I internally groan because this isn't any better, now all the attention was drawn towards us.

    "You know we were just having a bit of fun Dom" one of the men who was wrestling pips up as he untangles him self from the other man and heads our way. He looks to be about mid 20s, is almost as tall as Dom, and had a headful of long black hair. Of course I didn't feel any special tug toward the man, but I'd be blind if I couldn't see how attractive he was. "Looks like you've been having a bit of fun your self there" The man states giving me an up down that sends a shiver of delight down my spine.

    "Yea something of that sort Ren" Dominic chuckled in return, and it honestly surprised me that he wasn't all defensive over me when it came to this mans statement. His next statement though felt like a punch to the gut. "This is Cassie, she's that Omega I had to go grab from Stanley's pack. Poor things mate rejected her." 

    "Asshole" I grumble under my breathe just to catch his smirking. He's gonna regret the fact that he was standing there so smugly pretending like he hadn't tried to kill his brother over touching me and just peppered my ass red not even an hour ago.

    "His lost our gain then" Ren stated throwing his arm around me. "So Cassie was it, I hope Dom here wasn't too tough of a escort. He's been known to be rough around the edges."

    "Actually, he's been a complete possessive ass the whole time of me knowing him. Maybe you can figure out what crawled up his ass and died" I state, earning me a genuine laugh from Ren.

    "I like this one Dom. I think we ought to keep her" He states once he able to catch his breath.

    "That's the plan Ren, trust me. Me she's not leaving my sight any time soon" Dominic explains with a smirk directed towards me. "Though it does seem we have an audience and I'm sure they'd like to meet our new guest. If you'd do the honors I'll get her stuff took up to her room."

    "My pleasure" Ren answered and before I could object though I was being whisked away and he was headed up stairs. My Alpha Asshole had just handed me off to another man and had acted like it was no big deal. Wasn't mated men suppose to be territorial of their mates, especially alphas. He'd been so dead set on claiming me as his on the way her so why was he acting like he wasn't my mate all of the sudden? 

    I was far too distracted by Dominic's behavior to even pay much attention as I was introduced to each person. The main thing I got from the conversations was who were occupants of the house and who were just guests, which thankfully were a few of the people. From the people who were present six of the men and three of the women lived here full time. There was two other men who weren't present that lived there and a handful of people who were just frequent guests who stayed over from time to time. By the time introductions were over Dominic was finally making his way back down stairs, and to my surprise he wasn't alone. 

    "Who's that?" I asked Ren, my eyes staying glued to Dominic and the red headed woman following behind him. 

    "That's Cherry. She's a hell of a woman too look at and the only thing that has been keeping Dom half way decent since Anna passed." He explained taking a drink from the beer he'd picked up some time during all the introductions.

    "So he's sleeping with her" I asked, feeling the jealousy bubbling in my stomach.

    "Yes Cassie he's sleeping with her. Most of us have had our go with her, but since she's had her chance at him she hasn't unlatched those claws of hers from him" He explained with a chuckle that made my blood boil. No wonder her hadn't been so worried about Ren being all over me, he had a woman like her waiting upstairs for him. 

    "That f*****g prick" I mumbled under my breath, glaring daggers at the both of them.

    "Don't get your feelings hurt there love. Cherry's the finest little beta we've got in the pack it's not surprising he's holding onto her. But the bright side is now we all have you to occupy our time and I'm sure most of us wouldn't disappoint you like our alpha over there has" Ren says sliding his hand under my chin so I was looking up at him. I should be mad about his statement that I would be entertaining him and his pack members, but Dominic's actions were clouding my brain and for a split second I considered it, at least until they headed our way. "This is gonna be interesting" He says as he drops his hand from my face with a smirk.

    "Cassie, I want you to meet one last person. I don't believe she was down here when Ren and you made your rounds. This is-"

    "Cherry... yea I know. It's so nice to meet you but I think I need a drink" I state cutting him off mid-sentence. "Ren do you wanna come with me to get one? Maybe we can even go talk with James some more, he was a delight earlier."

    "Cassie there's no need to be rude and you're too young to be drinking" Dominic states sternly glaring down at me.

    "And this is the face of someone who does not care. Also if I recall correctly you don't believe I'm not too young for other things" I state with a smile as I grab Ren's hand and head towards the back door, snagging a beer from the fridge as we do. I wished I could of completely soak in the delight I got from the shock plastered on his and her face though.

    "Cassie you're gonna come right back here and watch the way you speak to me" He growled causing the atmosphere in the house to thicken and put most of the inhabitants on edge. 

    "No I don't think I will. Have fun with Cherry though" I shout over my shoulder as we head out the back door. It didn't take me long to realize either that someone must of held him back when he didn't come storming out the door to follow us.

    "Damn love you must have a death wish, and it seems like you're determined to drag me down with you" Ren laughed as we made are way over to one of the handful of tables sat up outside.

    "Nah just tired of asshole's thinking they can get away with everything and still have a say so over my life" I state with a shrug, sitting on the table instead of the little wooden bench. "Plus I doubt he'd kill you over this seeing as he didn't rip your head off when we first got here."

    "Oh really now, whys that?" he smirked standing between my legs, propping his hands on either side of me.

    "I'll let you ask your Alpha that question. I'm sure he'll loved to tell you all about it" I smirk leaning into him, if Dominic was gonna forget our mate bond then so would I. "I don't wanna think about him anymore though and I'm sure you can manage helping with that task."

    "Oh you bet I can" he says, slowly closing the gap between us when were interrupted.

    "Ren. House. Now" A growl ordered from behind him and his face fell.

    "Raincheck love, Alpha's orders" He say with a sigh before turning around and heading towards the house.

    "What the f**k is your problem?" I snap at Dominic, noticing the back yard was now empty.    

    "I want to know why you're act like a spoiled brat again and why you think I'd allow you to kiss one of my closest friends" He stated with furry in his eyes, completely ignoring my question.

    "Me? What the f**k do you mean why am I acting like this? Maybe go ask your w***e inside I'm sure she can answer that question for you" I say as I slide off the table and go to push around him, only for him to wrap his hands around my throat and pull me back.

    "I've already told you once to watch your mouth I won't do it again Cassie. I also don't take too kindly to you referring to anyone in my pack as a w***e just so were clear" He growled.

    "Of course you don't Dominic you're sticking your f*****g d**k in her. Don't think I don't know why it took you so long to get back downstairs earlier. It's your own house after all so I know you didn't get lost and I was filled in on your history with her when I saw you two coming down stairs. If you're plan is to f**k who ever you please even with me being here then don't get pissed off when I do the same" I state with just as much anger as I knock his hand from my throat. "If this is your plan for the future between us I'd rather you f*****g reject me too." With that I head back inside, leaving him where he's standing.
