The echoes of Kane's threats still lingered in the dusty air of the shed, a chilling reminder of the danger they faced. Ben, Mica, and Sakamoto stood in the dim light, their breaths ragged, their adrenaline slowly subsiding.

"We need to get out of here," Sakamoto said, his voice low and urgent. "He's not going to let this go."

They quickly left the shed, the darkness of the school hallways amplifying their sense of unease. They decided to head to Sakamoto's house, a secluded place where they could discuss their next move in safety.

Once inside, Sakamoto locked the doors and drew the curtains, creating a sense of isolation from the outside world. He then pulled out his laptop and began to meticulously document everything that had happened, including Kane's threats and the details of their confrontation.

"We need to make sure we have a solid record of everything," Sakamoto explained, his fingers flying across the keyboard. "This is our insurance."

Mica, still shaken by Kane's aggression, suggested they contact the authorities immediately. "We can't wait," she said, her voice trembling slightly. "He's dangerous."

"We will," Sakamoto said, his eyes fixed on the screen. "But we need to present them with a complete case. We need to show them that this isn't just a schoolyard squabble."

They spent the next few hours compiling their evidence, organizing the debt ledger, the testimonies they had gathered, and their own accounts of Kane's extortion and threats. They also made copies of everything, storing them in multiple locations to prevent Kane from destroying them.

As they worked, Ben's initial fear began to morph into a steely determination. He was tired of being afraid, tired of being a victim. He wanted justice, not just for himself, but for everyone Kane had hurt.

"We need to protect the other students," Ben said, his voice firm. "They're still vulnerable."

"We will," Sakamoto said, nodding in agreement. "We'll work with the principal and the authorities to ensure their safety."

They decided to present their findings to the principal the following morning. They knew it was a risk, but they also knew they couldn't delay any longer.

As dawn approached, they made their way to the principal's office, their hearts pounding in their chests. They presented their evidence, their voices steady and resolute. The principal, initially skeptical, became increasingly alarmed as they revealed the extent of Kane's operation.

"This is unacceptable," the principal said, his face grim. "We will not tolerate this kind of behavior in our school."

He immediately contacted the authorities, and they arrived shortly after. They interviewed Ben, Mica, and Sakamoto, and they examined the evidence. They were clearly disturbed by what they found.

Meanwhile, Kane, realizing that his operation was in jeopardy, began to panic. He tried to intimidate the other students, threatening them with violence if they spoke out against him. But his threats were met with defiance. The students, emboldened by Ben, Mica, and Sakamoto's courage, refused to be silenced.

As the authorities continued their investigation, Kane's power began to crumble. His followers, realizing that he was no longer invincible, began to turn against him. Rex and Vince, fearing the consequences of their involvement, offered to cooperate with the authorities in exchange for leniency.

Kane, isolated and desperate, made a final attempt to escape, but he was apprehended by the authorities before he could leave the school grounds. His reign of terror was over.

The aftermath was a whirlwind of activity. The school was in a state of shock, and the students were reeling from the revelations. But there was also a sense of relief, a sense of liberation. The darkness that had loomed over them for so long had finally been dispelled.

Ben, Mica, and Sakamoto were hailed as heroes, their courage and determination inspiring others to stand up against injustice. But they didn't see themselves as heroes. They were just students, trying to do the right thing.
