"We have enough trees here to build a craft," he says.
Will looks skeptical. "A craft? You mean for us to build a boat?"
"Nothing quite so well-crafted," he chuckles. "Even if we had the skills, we don't have the tools," he says. "We have enough for a raft, but falling the trees would take a bit of time, seeing as we don't have an axe in the utility box."
"How would we go about it, then?" Will asks.
"We mark a tree near the base with a knife, and find a sharp-edges stone, bind some of the material from the bale round and hack till the tree can be snapped. Then, we trim off the branches and cut away the top."
