Wind Brix groaned as he slowly regained consciousness. His body ached. Worse, his head felt like someone had slugged him with a ten-pound weight. Peeling his eyes open, he stared at the slightly tilted landscape in front of him. He knew he was lying on his side. He knew he was no longer swinging from a tow truck hook.
