Matt's POV The moment her face came into view I knew something was off. She didn't try to hide her emotions from me for once. Usually she puts up a front. A front the I always see right through, but she doesn't need to know that. She doesn't need to know that I've got her figured out. She would hate that. The fact that she's being so upfront with her emotions tells me how bad it must be. I just wasn't expecting dress shopping to put her in so much distress. I wondered if maybe her mom told her the truth. Maybe even a small bit of the truth? I feel guilty, but a huge part of me is hoping that Lily slipped up and gave something away.
