Chris's P.O.V

"I AM NOT YOURS!! YOU REJECTED ME AND I EXCEPTED. LET'S SAY YOU DIDN'T, I WOULD HAVE REJECTED YOU. YOU AND YOUR WHOLE PACK HAVE TORTURED MYSELF AND V OUR WHOLE LIVES. YOU HAVE BEAT ME, YOUR FAMILY STARVED ME. I HAVE SCARS ON MY BODY FROM SILVER WHIPS YOU BEAT ME WITH. SEE?...You're a coward! You can't even look at what you have done. I thought an artist always did go over and admire their work. You always did when you were creating them. Know this Chris, I hate you, I hate your pack. I always have and always will, so go back to them, stay out of my life and LEAVE ME THE f**k ALONE!"

She sneered in my face whilst pulling her dress down, exposing her bra for me to see all of the scars on her body. I looked away. I had to. I couldn't stand to see that and I know that my mother, father, sister, hell, my f*****g while damn pack, and regrettably myself had done some of that. I also know that she has other scars in other places as well. I didn't want to see her like that. It was like being stabbed in the heart and it made me stick to my f*****g stomach to know that we all caused her all that pain and in some of the most sickening ways. I know that I only have myself to blame and my wolf is pissed off with me for what I have done to her and since the day I rejected her he has barely spoken to me and I know there is no excuse for any of it. My father never wanted me to talk to her or anything. I'm not sure why he hated her the way he did and still does. I mean, who turns a child into a slave and abuses them so bad? He always said it was her fault, she was bad or other bullshit like that and over time all the talks about she's this low life wolf that nobody loves and cares for and who is so bad that my father had to treat that way, made me view her the same way. I always liked her though and did want to be her friend and her boyfriend but my father's ways got to me. I wanted to make it up to her though and I plan on doing so, she just won't give me the chance to speak to her, not that I blame her. After she got into my face and said that to me, she then took off running leaving me, Alpha Joseph and Alpha John standing there in an awkward and tense silence. Alpha Joseph had to stop the fight that was going to break out between myself and John. I was genuinely surprised to find that Stephany was here along with Adam. He and I have been best friends since we were little. He was his parents pride and Joy. I'm not sure why they hated their daughter either but they did. It was like When Adam was there they treated her okay but then they kicked her out of their home. When Adam found out he was beyond pissed off and came to me angry saying my parents wanted that to happen, that they commanded it. I confronted them but they denied it was their idea but did know about it. They said something about Stephany attacking and threatening someone and also themselves. Adam then left for warrior training, leaving his sister here and made me promise to watch over her. I'm guessing he found a new pack to join since he never came back home. He turned down being my beta because he couldn't stand how his sister got treated by the pack and couldn't stop it or do anything about it. I told him I had his back. You see, back then I wasn't really mean to her. I didn't really talk to her much, I was rude yes but never around him. but when he left things changed. I'm not sure why or how and I don't really have an excuse. I've changed and I'm willing to work on things and make it right for Stephany. I guess I always had feelings for her but never let them show and since the rejection I came to the realization what my feelings are for her, so Imagine my surprise when I came here that I first see Adam and we greeted each and then after the meeting we then come outside to take our seats for dinner. That is when I saw her. At first I thought I had imagined it but then I saw her and Veda running towards the rest of the people, dancing and I knew that this was not my imagination, it was her. She was here. They were dancing away just having a great time and smiling. Damn that f*****g smile. She looked so happy and carefree, not a single worry in the word, but I wasn't paying attention to that. I was paying attention to her dancing. It was sexy as hell. She had moves. She looked absolutely amazing! She put on some weight but was still tiny and she filled out in all the right places. I couldn't help myself from going up behind her, grabbing ahold of her hips and grinding into her ass. I had to. I wanted to feel my hands on her soft skin. She did try to get away but I turned her around so she could face me and pull her closer to me. Veda screamed so loud and backed away, covering her mouth with her hands and Stephany yelled for me to let her go. The song came to an end so every one heard what she said before the next song had a chance to come on. That fucker John rushed over to where we were standing and told me to let her go. How dare he? who the fick does that asshole think he is? He shoved her behind him which pissed myself and my wolf off. Stephany is mine! and I told them just as such and that's when she had said all those things to me, then took off. I wanted to go after her but the Alpha stopped me. My father and I came here for the Alpha meeting and to find out if my pack was still going to keep its peace treaties that were in place. We already have a bad rep from what my dad did years ago and we were hoping to keep the treaties but that didn't happen since the asshole, Alpha John had to open his f*****g mouth. Most of the packs withdrew because they found out how we treated Stephany. I could care less about which pack Silver Stream chose to be their close allies, it just shows that in my opinion they are weak. No it's not uncommon for packs to be close but I would never allow such things to happen within my own pack. Can they not fight on their own? Of course he chose Full moon. it is bull s**t! Full Moon thinks they are the strongest pack in the region, to be honest they are very strong but I'm stronger. I hate to admit but losing the Full moon pack is a blow to us but we will make it through even stronger than them and the other packs will pay. I will make sure of it. John went running off, probably to find Stephany. Leaving me with Alpha Joe.

"You are lucky I don't have you leave my pack. I have heard what your pack and now you have done to those poor girls. Now we have a bar b que we have to continue and other Alphas and Elders are here and I don't want to make a scene, but I want you and your father to leave first thing in the morning is that clear?"

I didn't even bother to answer. I just turned around and walked away. I scoffed. He wants me gone? that was fine with me, but Stephany will be going with me. Finally Adam returned and the Alpha walked away. Adam gave a curious look between us but shook his head.

"Hey man, sorry it took me a while. I couldn't find the whiskey."

"All good man, you found it though so let's drink up like old times."

"Hell yeah!!"

I know he'll find out about the abuse and he'll want to kill me so I might as well live it up whilst I can.

Adam's P.O.V

As soon as the Elders and Alpha's arrived I saw Chris, my childhood best friend and his father. I was happy to see Chris but not Danny. He was an asshole. He mistreats people and killed innocent packs for their land. Danny looked at me and rolled his eyes and walked away. Chris however, greeted me.

"Holy s**t man. You're here? no way."

"I know, long time, no see."

We shook hands and walked inside going to the meeting. He told me he became Alpha and I congratulated him. I told him I was sorry for leaving the pack and turning down becoming his beta to which he said he understood.. His parents are the reason mine kicked out Stephany. My parents couldn't go against a command. He hated my sister, hell, the whole pack did and treated her and Veda terribly. I couldn't stand to see it so when training opened up I left. I thought she would be safe with our parents but was wrong. They along with the pack abused her. I don't understand why. There was a time they loved her. When my sister first got here and was telling us why she left, Luna Allison asked a question of why would any parents treat their child that way? In my head I said those who aren't her real parents. Somehow my sister heard that. I found out she wasn't my real sister when I was ten. I overheard them talking about it. I don't know how they ended up with her but I was happy. I loved her none the less. After I seen I led him, his father and some alphas to alpha Joe's office for the meeting which was awkward and got pretty heated. I was so happy it was over. Before dinner was ready, I rushed to find the whiskey for Chris and I to drink. I apologized to him for taking longer than I thought. I poured us a few shots and we got to talking and laughing just like the old days. Things seemed pretty tense when I first walked up. It looked like there was some kind of issue with Chris and Joe. Neither said anything. Joe walked away. So it was Chris and myself for a bit. I turned towards the stage when I heard Alpha Joe speak.

"Welcome everyone to Silver stream. My self and my pack decided to put together this bar b que for a bit of fun. I know we all work hard and don't get to really enjoy things. There is plenty of food and it is ready so please enjoy and have some fun."

Everyone thanked him and clapped and whistled. We all then sat down to eat. I noticed my sister was not here but I didn't really dwell on it. The food was amazing and every one seemed to be having a blast. When the party died down Alpha Joe came over to where Chris and I were sitting. Chris excused himself saying he was tired so he took off. Alpha Joe had a stoic face and I could tell something was off. Alpha John came over as well.

"She passed out. Someone showed me where her room was so I took her. I'm sorry Alpha Joe."

"Don't be, and thank you. After dinner I would like all of us to go to my office. We need to talk."

I was wondering who they were talking about and what was going on. Everyone went their separate ways to eat. The music was going and the food was good. I was stuffed. When everything started to die down Alpha Joe showed the Elders and Alphas to their rooms. Once that was done we all made our way to the office. I shut the door behind me and took my seat. I can tell by the look on Alpha Joe's face something was up and I was becoming anxious.I could no longer hold it in.

"What's up Alpha?"

"What we discuss in this room stays in this room. Got it?"

"Yes sir"

We all say to him. I didn't understand why someone from another pack was involved so I decided to ask.

"Alpha? Why is Alpha John here for this discussion? No offense Alpha John."

"None taken."

"Because this has just as much to do with him as it does for us. He is Stephany's mate. Now I will be asking you a question and I want you to be honest with me."

"She has a second chance mate?"

"Yes. The moon goddess blessed her with one and I know he will be better then the first one. As we are all aware now, She was mated before. He rejected her and she excepted. We know he treated her terribly."

John lets out a growl. I am guessing hearing that she was mated to someone else pisses him off.

"Two of us in this room know who that was."

"How? She didn't tell us."

John spoke up before Alpha could.

"I met him. She was yelling at him, we heard and we rushed over to her."

"HE IS HERE? WHO THE f**k IS HE?"

I sneered and stood, ready to rip the fucker to shreds. I was livid.

"That prick Alpha Chris!"

John states. WHAT? He is a dead man!

"WHERE THE f**k IS HE?"

I boomed. That f*****g scum bag p***y beat my sister.

"I know you're mad and we will deal with it but this is not the main reason for the talk though. When Stephany was yelling at Chris, I was standing in the middle of him and John I noticed something with her. Something happened."

"What happened?"

"Her eyes turned purple."

Is he for real? I thought to myself. He must be joking. No way he say that too. I thought it was all in my mind.

"purple eyes?

I questioned.

"They turned purple?"

Noah asked. He looked a bit nervous.

"What is wrong Noah? Do you know something?"

"Yes, but she told me not to say anything. On the first day of training she accidentally broke her hand. She lunged at me and almost had me pinned but lost her footing and fell. We heard a snap. I insisted we go to the pack hospital but she didn't want to. I made a make shift sling and was helping her with her hand but when she touched it with her other hand some electricity came out and her eyes were purple and her hand instantly healed."

"it is just as I thought"

Alpha Joe said. What does she think? What is going on with my sister? what does he know? I need to have answers and I need and want them...NOW!!
