Chapter 3- Just a normal day

Pov: Kyle, Alpha of the Blood Levada Pack

"Oh my gosh, I'm not ready to go back to school,” Austin complains which he has been doing on the whole plane ride.”Well, we sort of have to, we can’t vacation forever,” Jason tried to explain to him, but Austin was too stubborn to listen, so they ended up getting into a full-on argument. Meanwhile, Theodore is studying, he doesn’t care that he was on vacation if he knew he had work missing he wouldn’t rest till it was finished. On the other hand, Michael was stuffing his face with food while somehow watching Jason and Austin fight and being able to text on his phone all at the same time. My best friend Christopher or brother from another mother, is a bit of a player, he is always being touched all over by a bunch of sexy girls, I do too, but not as much as him.The other Alpha’s were all doing different things, just mostly chilling and trying to enjoy the last of our vacation while riding on our private plane. I am one of the only Alpha on this plane that is actually running his pack, the rest of the Alpha’s are heirs, I’m not, due to the fact that my father is sick and not strong enough to lead the pack. I am the Alpha and leader but my father still helps with the Alpha work until I turn 21 and ready to do it on my own, so that is the reason why I’m looking through pack work while everyone is relaxing, I can’t afford to tag behind the older much wiser Alpha’s and embarrass my pack, My friend Austin is also an Alpha leader, but he just likes to slack off a bit, but if it was time to really get serious, he would. “ Alpha’s we’ll be arriving in Blood Levada pack in five hours,” the flight attendant announces, everyone starts to sigh, “ I can’t be in the air this long, or I will get motion sickness,” says one of the Alpha’s, “then just go to sleep,” said another unknown face. There are 25 of us Alpha Elites but I only know a few, which are my closest and most trusted friends. The others I would see in meeting some times but we don’t really interact with each other out of business. Chris managed to push away all the girls and come to sit next to me.” What’s interesting in the latest packs news” he ask curiously, he might not be Alpha of the Stoneridge Pack yet, but he still wanted to know about pack relations, he is a very smart person and focused, he might now look it, but he would be an amazing powerful leader and ally in the werewolf community, well that was when he didn’t have his tongue down a girl’s throat or other places that is. “Nothing really interesting going on in the latest pack news, well except that the silver moon pack leader was overthrown by a civilian rebellion”. I said. “ What,” Theodore said as he stopped reading his book and looked up so fast his glasses almost fell off. Jason and Austin stopped fighting and paid attention, even Michel stopped stuffing his face, and the rest of the Alpha’s fell silent. Theodore broke the silence, “I knew Connor since we were kids he was the nicest person in the world he wouldn’t hurt a mosquito even if it wanted to suck his blood dry.” he said with anger in his voice. Michael interrupted “ I heard that he was the most peaceful pack leader, that he took over the pack when he was 8 and he bowed and showed respect to the Blood moon pack that wanted to take over his territory, he could have easily defeated them with his military forces, but he chose to use no violence,”. Austin chimed in, “ That’s true, and I heard that his people were so inspired by his pacifist actions and words that they all discarded their dignity and bowed with him to the enemy, the blood moon pack was so moved they all ended up joining the Silver moon pack” he paused for a second in thoughts,” that is the leader I hope to be, someone who can move the hearts of his people so swiftly.” Jason nodded to that sentiment “ How could someone who has such a kind heart and always kept his pack in peace and out of war be overthrown by his people” I shrugged my shoulders” who knows, what matters is that members of several packs including some in our packs are trying to help him. He could be a powerful ally to us. The fate of the Silvermoon pack and other important events are unknown. We just have to sit back and wait’’ everyone fell silent and eventually got back to what they were doing. Chris didn’t go back to the girls, he stayed to chat with me, “ senior year” he says excitedly “ aren't you excited? I wasn’t really excited, it was just another year of school anyway, and I don’t know why he was so excited, he skips school most of the time, but I didn’t want to argue with him about loosening up and enjoying life like we always do, so I said,” Yeah, this year is certainly gonna be eventful.”

POV: Aleaza

“ Don’t touch me, you need to go to a mental hospital” I say playfully, as Jennifer tries to hug me for the 6th time today. Kianna is talking to Ace about a romance book, that it turns out they both love, and Daniel, Ace’s friend that he invites to sit with us, he’s cool and always makes us laugh so I’m cool with him, I am just happy that Ace’s happy. We were interrupted from our happy conversions when the Blonde bimbo Samantha walks into the lunchroom with her minions behind her, she has a pack of pamphlets in her hand, and she looked like she is gonna make an announcement, “ Our Beloved Alpha’s are back and we will be doing the usual formal greeting in the auditorium, so all classes will be canceled for the rest of the day. I rolled my eyes at the way she announced that so peppy, I really don’t like her, apparently, she used to bully Kianna because she wanted her boyfriend, and when she took her boyfriend she only dated him for a week before dumping him, she is now dating the main person that was bullying Daniel, I’m not surprised like minds do attract. She gave out the pamphlets, apparently, it’s about manners etiquette, and how to treat the Alpha’s when they arrive. I don’t think all this praise of them is necessary, it might grow their egos a little too big. Samantha walked over to our table after she gave it to every other person but us, she threw our pamphlets on the floor and looked Kianna dead in the eye, and said “ oops sorry sweety, I dropped it, why don’t you pick it up for me” Samantha’s minions laughed which led to everyone in the lunchroom to be burst out in laughter”. Jennifer’s face was angry like she was ready to kill a b*tch, and Kianna didn’t say anything she just made movements to go down and pick up the papers, I was going to get up and punch her and start a fight with the b*tch, butAce stopped Kianna from picking them up, and he looked at Samantha and said calmly,” Why don’t you pick it up yourself sweety.” The whole cafeteria just said “ ooh” Really Moon goddess, Are these the students that such a prestigious Highschool has, I wouldn’t want to meet the kids at a regular public Highschool. I would get a shot in a day. Samantha didn’t look upset, rather, she looks pleased,” I didn’t know there were rogues that were handsome as you, do you want my number baby,” she said flirtatiously. Her boyfriend Steven only growled but didn’t say anything just growled and looked at my brother menacingly. My brother laughed, “ I don’t like girls dear, and even if I did, you wouldn’t be my type”. Kianna chuckled”. Samantha looked shocked, she didn’t say anything just had an angry expression on her face and walked out of the lunchroom, with her minions, and her boyfriend, chasing after her. As soon as they left the whole lunchroom started to gossip. Kianna turned to Ace, “ Thank you, my fellow Sunlight Paradise fan”. Ace raised his hand up high as a sort of salute “ Amen sister”. The whole crew started laughing. We finished lunch talking about all sorts of things, boys, school, clubs, just a good leisure conversation but we still manage to make it crazy and fun. I don’t know what I would do without these guys, it has already been two weeks but it doesn’t feel like it, time is just flying by with me and my friends, after lunch, we head to our classes to then head to the auditorium after taking attendance. Instead of going to the auditorium to see the filthy rich Alphas that care nothing about us, I decide to skip as I have usually been doing since I got here.I think today is just a beautiful day for a jog, so I sneak into the bathroom and take my gym clothes from my bag, it’s pretty sexy it’s just a simple white tank top with black cut-up leggings as a style. But I make anything look sexy. I think I saw a trail in the woods when Ace was driving us to school, “why don’t I give my wolf some air” I say to myself with excitement. I jog to the woods, which was not far, it was only 12 minutes away from the school, maybe 5 minutes if you drive. I take off my clothes and put them down on a log so they won’t get dirty, I get down on all fours and my bones start to crack. It doesn’t hurt anymore since I was 16, when I first shifted, in a couple of seconds my skin turns into my white fur and my body changes into the shape of a wolf “ Hello, Aleaza, it's been a while” My wolf suddenly said, which startled me, “ Yeah it’s been a couple of months “Chenel”, I’m glad to be able to talk to my wolf since we can only talk in wolf form, she is like a mother to me, she has always been there to guide me when I needed help to survive on my own, and I really value the lessons she taught me, she probably learned a lot from experience, helping other werewolves like me when she was with them. “How bout we go for a run,” she says, and with that, I start running. I ran through the woods feeling the breeze in my hair, and hearing the cracks of sticks at my paws. I can’t help but howl, this feeling is so invigorating. I can do this for hours with my wolf stamina. I don’t ever want to stop this feeling. But of course, all good things have to come to an end. I heard a loud growl and a large brown wolf appeared. By its size and stature, it must be Alpha Kyle, he must think I’m a deviant rogue because rogues from the program are not allowed to shift. Chenel ended up communicating with the Alpha’s wolf and he told us we should bow as a sign of respect and submission. There’s no way in hell I want to do that, but I did promise my brother no fighting, so I just obeyed like a good little dog. A bunch of other wolves appeared. They must be Alpha's men. I got my clothes and I hide behind a tree, and for some reason, my clothes smell like chocolate syrup. I put on my clothes even though I had never been so embarrassed in my life in front of the Alpha, and someone once told me I looked like I was someone's grandmother. I stepped from behind the tree, the minute I did. I locked eyes with a frowning Alpha, who when he saw me was not frowning anymore. We both fell silent and uttered one word at the same time, Mate!

Pov: Ace

I skipped the Auditorium. I feel bad, but I guess my sister's bad habits were rubbing off on me. It didn’t even make sense to be there because the Alpha didn’t even show up to his own greeting ceremony and some of the other Alpha’s followed his example. I had a lot of work to do, so I went to the bleachers on the football field and started to do my homework. I turned off my phone, I didn’t want any distractions until I finished. After I finished my homework, my English teacher was evil enough to give me an essay to do in a day. I worked on it in class so, It didn’t take that long but it still felt like a stab in the gut. I turned on my phone which was flooded with a thousand messages. Aunt Clara said: “ We won’t be home, we’re going to run a couple of errands, food is in the fridge if you’re hungry.” I get hungry thinking of Aunt Clara’s delicious homemade cooking, I text her “thanks you’re the best aunty”, the other texts were all from my friends, they were wondering where I was. Apparently, everyone is in the Lunchroom is gawking at the Alphas that are there, so I guess where they ran off to. I don’t know why the Alpha’s would be there instead of the auditorium, they’re probably just as unhappy about it as we are. I hopped from the bleachers to head to the lunchroom. I would much rather scroll through social media on my phone than go socialize right now, but if I don’t go Kianna is going to kill me, and then she would have Jennifer bury me. I slowly walked into the school and for some reason, there was the sweet smell of a blueberry muffin coming from the lunchroom. Maybe the lunch lady surprised us with some baked treats. I walked into the cafeteria and saw three people who I assumed to be the handsome Elite Alpha's. There is one with glasses that is trying to read a book peacefully but there are guys and girls pestering him with questions, the other is a guy smiling and looks as if he is sharing his life story with the world, he seems more extroverted than the other guy and lastly, there was the guy in the middle. He had a girl on each arm that was kissing him all over, and at the same time, he is kissing the slutty Samantha. For some reason seeing this scene hurt me. The stranger took a break from kissing the girl and looked at me. Instantly my heart began to race, I can’t help but not move, with all types of feelings bubbling up in me, hurt, shock and envy, and the only thing that broke me out of my trance was one word ”Mate”.
