Chapter Nine: Part One

I didn't want my brother to leave this morning but he had morning classes and I needed to get to school. I didn't want him to leave. Jason left with him too even though he wanted to say and bug me and I have to admit I would have enjoyed. But he couldn't stay he had to leave because Jordan was his ride here and if he didn't leave he would have had to take the train and Jason doesn't do trains. So he left after giving me a big and promising to come back soon and he also promised to bring his own car so he could stay longer.

Anyhow, now I am stuck in my math class learning about angles. We learn about angles in the third grade. You know Obtuse, Right Angle and Acute angles. Yeah, I don't care about that stuff so I am not paying attention to my teacher as he talks. I am paying attention to the clock though. And that clock says that I will be out of this useless class in..

And I am out! I ran out the before anyone could seeing as my desk is right next to the door that is the only good this about that class. But it is also really annoying, I have to keep getting up to open the door for people who go in out of the classroom. I walked to my locker happy to finally eat my sandwich! I pretty much ran to my locker and opened it, I grabbed my sandwich and closed my locker. I unwrapped my sandwich as I walked. I took a bite and walked toward the cafeteria to meet up with my friends when I heard my name being called from behind be and making me just, making me drop my sandwich. I groaned as Eliza, Elizabeth and Jasmine all came running towards me. I glared at them as I picked up my sandwich and throwing it in the garbage next to me.

"Can't you guys be normal and talk to me when you were next to me. You just waisted my sandwich!" I groaned as my stomach growled .

"I'll buy you another one. But that isn't what's important" She said with a huge smile on her face.

"My hunger isn't important?" I questioned.

"Not right now it isn't. What are you thoughts on a bon-fire?" She asked.

"Why?" I questioned again.

"Just answer the question." Elizabeth groaned.

"They're cool I guess." I shrugged crossing my arms over my chest really wanting that sandwich right now.

"So, will you be down to go to one tonight?" Jasmine asked and I knew my answer right away and nothing was going to change my mind.

"No, it's a school night." I said

"What are you a nerd? So what if it's a school night?" Jasmine asked annoyed at my answer.

"Come on Hope! We know you love bon-fires! Remember the last one we went to?" Eliza said.

"I know but I have a math test that I need to study for." I said lying.

"No you don't. We have the same math teacher remember." Eliza said and I groaned.

"I don't want to go." I groaned.

"King will be there!" Elizabeth said giving me a look and so did Eliza and Jasmine. I glared at Elizabeth knowing she was baiting me. "If I have to go, so do you." She whispered in my ear.

"Why would she care if king was going?" Eliza asked confused.

"Dose someone have a crush on the bad boy?" Jasmine said in a whiney annoying tone. I glared at her.

"I don't care if he's coming and I am still not going." I said walking away from there groans and into the cafeteria. I walked to the table that we have been sitting at for the last couple of weeks. Right next to King. The girls wouldn't stop asking me to come but I ignored them and sat in my seat next to King who had his head down and looked to be sleeping but he probably wasn't.

"What's going on?" Mateo asked getting into the convocation.

"Hope won't come to the bon-fire tonight." Jasmine said glaring at me. I shook my head.

"Why not." He asked looking at me I was going to make up and excuse but Eliza beat me to the punch.

"Because it's a school night." She said and Jace chuckled as he wrapped his arm around Eliza's shoulder making her blush.

I have to ask her about that later..

"Nerd." King whispered next to me with a small chuckle.

"Your just mad I got the best of you saturday." I said triumphilay.

"Come on love we both I let you do that." He said talking about the fact that I dunked him more time than he could dunk me in under the water.

"Are you serious Hope? When was the last time you went to a party?" Mateo asked as Nik sat down with a plate of pizza in his hand. I thought about the question and laughed when I remembered. It was the night Jordan got stupid drunk so Jason had to watch me, but wanted to get a drink so he left me for a minute and a drunk guy came over and tried to hit on me. I turned him down then he grabed my arm and Jordan saw this and drunkingly puched the guy just as Jason came back. But the drunk guy had a lot of big friends who didn't like what my brother had done so Jason droped his drink and we dragged Jordan out the house saying 'We can take them' over and over again before he passed out in the backseat of jason's car. Jordan didn't let me go to parties after that.

"With my brother and his best friend about a year and half ago." I said with a smile on my face.

"That's too long you defiantly have to come now." Nik said taking a bite of his pizza as everbody agreed saying I need to come. King picked up his heda from the table and looked at me with a smirk on his face. But when he looked at everyone else his face was blank.

"She is coming tonight." He growled "Right Hope." He gave me a look that said I didn't have a choice I was going.

"Fine." I groaned and everybody cheered. I glared at King who was smirking at me and looked unafected by my glare.
