Him And I

Chapter Ten: Part Two:

Yet again I was shuffling through my closet looking for something to wear. I haven't been to a party in such a long time I don't even remember what people wore to parties. Dresses? But it's at the beach and I really don't want sand all over a nice dress. Shorts? I walked over to my dresser and looked for my light blue shorts. But what top do I wear? I could wear my black crop top with my black and white cardigan.. I walked back over to my closet and grabbed the shirt and cardigan placing them on the bed with my shorts. I walked back into my clothes looking for a pair sandals. I smiled when I saw my white sandal like flip flops. Picking up the shoes I dropped them near my clothes I was going to wear. I undressed myself of the clothes I was wearing and put on the clothes I wanted to wear out on.

After getting dressed there was a honk outside telling me my friends were here. I groaned not really wanting to go out right now, but what the heck right? I grabbed my phone, headphones and ran down stairs. When I walked outside it wasn't Eliza and Elizabeth waiting for me it was. King. I mentally wished my friends were dead.

"What are you doing here?" I asked when I was close to him.

"I'm your ride love." He said in a duhh tone.

"But.." I started but he cut me off.

"Just get in car nerd." He growled and walked over to the driver side and got in. it took me a couple seconds to gain the courage to step into his truck. The drive was silent. No music, no talking. It was irritating me and I don't like being irritated. But on the other hand I didn't know to start a convocation.

"What?" He growled probably seeing how uneasy I looked.

"Nothing, I just don't like silence." I mummered

"Well, then I guess we're lucky because we're here." He said pulling into the parking lot of the beach.

"Oh, well then thanks for the ride." I said a little embarrassed.

"Whatever." He said parking the truck, setting the engine off and getting out. Leaving me sit here and wonder if he was bi-polar. When I stepped out the car I felt a chill go down my spine so, I wrapped my cardigan tighter around me. I walked across the parking lot and across the street towards the beach. When my feet touched the sand I took my sandals off and followed the sound of loud voices and music. it took me a couple of minutes but I found the party. I shoved through the loads of people trying to find my friends. I saw Eliza and Jasmine dancing together and not to far from them was Elizabeth looking bored out of her mind, King drinking god knows what, Mateo and Luke were wrestling as Jase and Levi watched betting on who they thought were going to win. I laughed at them, they reminded me of Jordan and Jason.

"Finally you're here." Elizabeth said walking over to me King just looked up at me and then took another sip of his drink.

"What'd I miss?" I asked taking a seat on the long she was just sitting on.

"Boredom at it's finest." She said taking a seat next to me.

"That bad?" I asked

"Worse. I really want to go home." She groaned.

"Yeah, me too" I said with a sigh.

"Hope! You made it! Come dance with us!" Eliza said happily and ready to grab me.

"No, I am good right here." I said moving a way from her grasp.

"You're not a party pooper to are you?" Jasmine whined.

"I'll dance later." I promised.

"We're going to have to hold you to that." She said grabbing Eliza's hand and dragging her back to into the crowd of people dancing.

"I'm going to get a drink, do you want anything?" I questioned.

"No, I'm good." She said and I got off te log that was begging to hurt my butt and started looking for the drinks. As I walked away I could feel eyes watching me and it was kind of weird. I kept bumping into sweaty people and it was disgusting. When I finially found the drinks I was happy. I was really thirsty, I opened the cooler and took out a water bottle. Opening I chugged the water.

"Watch yourself, you might choke." Someone said from behind me making me jump.

Second time today.

"On water?" I questioned turning to face King.

"You can choke on water love, you can choke on many things." He said taking a step closer to me. I took a step back blsuhing still not used to the nickname and him being so close to me didn't help.

"So you say." I said. "Did you need something?"

"No, Do I need something to be able to talk to you?" He said with a small chuckle and smirk on his face.

Ok, really is this guy bi-polar. Eariler today he was fine and messing with me, them when he picked me up he was all moody and quiet, now he was flirting with me? I really do not get this guy.

"Are you bi-polar?" I asked not realizing what I said until it was to late.

"No, Why?" He asked confused.

"Because you're confusing." I said.

"So, because I'm hard to fidgure out you think I'm bi-polar?" He asked laughing and took another step closer to me to the point that our bodies were touching and my heart was racing at the speed of light. "What you don't like a challenge?"

Alchol.. The smell made me wince. I didn't like it.

"Or your drunk." I said pushing his boady away from mine. " Where's Samantha tonight?"

"With the baby-sitter." He said taking another step towards so our bodies were touching again. "Let's dace." Grabbing me he dragged me towards the crowds of people.

"But I don't know how to dance." I said trying to pull away from him but his grip was to tight.

"Just follow my lead." He said pulling me close and moving our bodies from side to side. My heart was racing really fast again. I don't know if it's because I'm really close to King or because i've never been this close to the other s*x before. He grabbed my wrists and placed them on his shoulder I then wrapped them around his shoulders. He then placed his hands around my waist.

"Do I make you nervous love?" He asked with a smirk.

"No." I state plainly.

"Are you sure because I can hear you heart beating." He stated.

"If you knew the anwser then why did you ask the question?" I said with a smile.

"I wanted to see what you'd say." He said.

"And?" I questioned

"You lied to me." He said making me confused.

"You my darling-" He started but was cut off because he starting throughing up.

"How much did you have to drink?" I questioned.

"No much for me to be throwing up. I must have eaten something bad." He said whiping his mouth with the sleeve of his light blue shirt.

"Come on, let me take you home." I said grabbing his arms and dragging away from the people.

"I can't. I don't want Sam to see me like this. I already paid the baby-sitter to watch her till morning." He said stopping in his tracks.

"Then stay at my place tonight. No one is home and I have an extra bedroom." I offered.

"I don't know." He said not sure how to awnser my offer.

"it's only for one night what bad could it do." I questioned.

"Fine. But only this once." He stated firmly and I noded . We walked back to the car in silence. I dont think either of us had anything to say. I know I didn't. When we stepped off the sand I realized I forgot my shoes by Elizabeth. I laughed at myself knowing this was something I would do.

"What?" He questioned.

"I forgot my shoes with Elizabeth." I said.

"Do you want to go get them?" He questioned.

"No, it's ok but I do need the keys." I said

"Why?" He asked patting himself down looking for his key and pulling the out of his black denim jeans pocket. Taking them from his hands I said.

"Because I'm driving."

The car ride to my house was quite mostly because King fell asleep. When we got my house I woke him and groaned at me. I guess he didn't like to be woken up. Something we both had in common. But he woke none the less we walked inside my house and up the stairs. I felt drained and couldn't wait to sleep. I told King he could sleep in my brothers room.

"I don't want to sleep in your brothers bed." He said giving me a disgusted face.

"Then you sleep on the couch or the floor." I sate firmly.

"But i'll have back pains." He said frowning.

He looked adorable.

"Then I don't know what to tell you." I said walking into my room , getting under the covers and falling asleep. I felt something next to me but I was to tired to see or care what it was.
