My Slave, I Won't Let You Go Again!

I thought it was just a bet, a game. When I accomplish the task, either I win or lose you can easily go on and live it as a memory. But why, why, I still linger to your touch and sweet words? My slave. It was afternoon in Denvalley High School, students in 12th grade Class A had their P.E class. Everyone are playing their sports they love, some took basketball, baseball, volleyball and tennis. They enjoyed this 1 hour class, the sweat falling down from their bright faces as the sun started to go down, a scenery reminiscent of childhood games. However, on one corner where the shining emerald tree shaded a one bench is where the only student who doesn't enjoy P.E sitting while sketching on her medium size sketchpad. Raven Beck, is an introvert sketch artist with an average IQ, she had a black wavy hair braided in one, a small emotionless eyes with a pale white complexion. At this moment she is trying to finish the portrait of her grandmother, so delicate and detailed. She makes it as perfect as the real picture of her loving grandmother. Her freckles, curves and shades are patiently sketched as the sunset can't strike her skin. But suddenly someone trip her sketch pad and fall down in the grass as her pencil flew away on the back of the bench. "Opps, did I touch filthy things, just like the owner" as the girl with long black straight hair with tannish skin color bow down as her face reaches the face of Raven while standing with her hands on her waist. This was May Hill, the beauty, smart, rich and favorite of all. Everyone thought she was nice and kind hearted but this was only her mask, without the public eyes she was evil as everyone can't imagine. She was a bully, her favorite target, is Raven, why? Because Raven was nobody, she belongs to the lower class family, living with a small house in a noisy and chaotic neighbourhood with her neglecting father who was an employee of May's father company as a clerk with a minimum salary enough to live and her loving grandmother. When she was young they had a big house built in a nice and peaceful neighbourhood with one owning a car. She was actually living a comfortable life, she had this bright smile, too many friends and pampered parents especially her mom who always loved to spoil her everyday. It was perfect not until she witness her mother collapse all of a sudden in the kitchen. " MOM! MOM! MOM! HELP! HELP" as she screams so loudly while her tears fall down on the face of her unconscious mother. From then on, she never attended her class and stayed with her mother in the hospital as if it was her house already. Her father was always out to work and find money for the hospital bill and operation of her mother, but one night. " The operation went well but it is too cruel to say, if you didn't pay for the remaining balance, we have to discharge your wife immediately" the doctor said with a pitying eyes and voice towards Raven's father. "Please give me one more week. I'll pay the remaining balance. Just , Please" with tears while holding the left hands of the doctor. " Ok, just one week, if only I am, I'll let your wife stay and continue her medication but it was the finance who ordered, I am sorry" bowing towards Raven's father and walking away. Her father kneels down and cries quietly as possible so that her daughter will never hear him but it was not. Raven witness all, how deeply sad and depressed her father was, she can't do anything but to cry as well. 8:00 AM in the morning while Raven sleep in the sofa near to her mothers bed in the hospital a sudden noise of a woman woke her up. "Doc, come here in room 09.......the patient needs to be revived" a blurry voice in Raven's ears, as soon she opened her eyes it was a nurse calling the doctor. Suddenly banging on the door, 2 nurses and the doctor rushly entered the room and revived her mom. She was taken by one nurse out of the room, she didn't know what's happening. 20 minutes had passed and her father came crying while looking at the fiberglass on the door, but still she had no clue. Then her dad grabs her so tightly, despite being clueless her tears fall on it's own that something in her heart there is something wrong with her mom. Then the door was open and the doctor's face looked devastated, and just shook his head. "Mr. Beck...she's...she's dead" her father froze at that and dropped her on the floor as he fell on it in despair. Raven just stared at him, as her eyes were full of sorrow and hurt.Then her father talked to her with his hoarse voice from crying. "Raven, honey, listen to me please" Raven was still staring at her dad while she was sobbing, she couldn't say a single word. "Your mom will rest well now, she will be happy after she dies.....you know that right? You need to accept that....." Raven didn't even nod, her mind was blank. All she could feel was emptiness, sadness and a pain inside her chest, her eyes were full of tears, and then her father hugged her again. He was whispering that his daughter should forgive him, he was also sobbing and apologizing to her and her alone for his mistake. And then it dawned on her, her mom is really gone. For the last time. For the first time she cried like a baby since forever, as her father held her tightly and whispered that everything will be fine. "Raven!" she looked at her father, he looked worried and worried about her. Mr.Beck reaches her hand and leaves the hospital grieving and takes Raven home for her to rest. But, when her swollen eyes close and easily fall asleep due to tiresome days of crying, she had a nightmare of her dead mom until she got sick in one week and unable to attend her mother's burial. While her father couldn't even bear to go home after the mourning, from loving father to neglecting one. After 2 weeks of sickness, Raven left her room seeing her father had an early breakfast and left the house for work without noticing her daughter and saw it with her grandmother. "Raven, my dear let's have breakfast" smiling as if everything was fine and nothing has changed. However, for Raven it was a big change, and nothing is not in the right place. She walk on the table silent and eat, and her grandmother saw the deep sadness of Raven and don't know how to relieve those pain and sadness, what she can all can do is to stay her by her side until her life span can. She attend her class look differently, even her friends noticed it, she is not the Raven they know before. She don't talk nor smile, she tried but it took a second and came back to an emotionless Raven. Two weeks later, when she went back home from school and opened the door of their house she saw a suitcase and her father packing things with her grandmother who covered the sofa. She asked,"What's going on? Why are we packing things?" with a confused face. Mr.Beck look at him suddenly and look down on the suitcase he was packing and responded, "We are not living here anymore, we have so much debt because of......This house, I sold it to pay them all, we need to move to our old house where we your grandmother lives when I was young" He paused when he supposed to say the name of her wife and continued what he was talking without looking in the eyes of his daughter. They move in a small shabby house, no car and small bedroom. Her situation was big news in her school, from then on her friends ignored her for her current social status, realizing that she is befriended because of fame, wealth and status in the society. Now, she is no one, and the bullying starts.
