"f**k, yes! Anything!" And there was truth. He suddenly realized he would have done anything for Gabrielle. Right or wrong, he’d do it.
A long silence. Too long. "Kill someone for me."
Damien looked at Colt, and both looked at Philip. What the f**k? "I'm not a murderer," he spat.
"Aren't you?" came the snarky reply.
"No."
A loud sniff. "I will call you back in five minutes to hear your decision. If you truly love Gabrielle, you'll do this." And the call ended.
Brett looked up at the others "Yep, he's at McGeorge's building."
"Kill someone? What the hell?" Miguel said.
"He wants to see what I'll do to bring Gabs home," Damien said next.
Colt nodded. "Someone he sees as deserving of death."
