“Look, I have a copy of the check that was signed over to Link Stone,” Mark said. “A lot of checks were made out to several kids Link was looking after, some issued every month for years, and he cashed them after they were signed over to him. There’s the question of whose signature is really on the backs of those checks…”
“You don’t have the evidence, and CPS has already come back to say that information was obtained without a warrant. They’re saying they’re currently looking into it as a clerical error,” said Assistant DA Cole Mitchell over the phone.
