S131 was surprised to see me join her in the break room for once. “Sarah, we need to talk. About the other day-”
“Je- i mean J17, I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you upset.”
I had totally forgotten about my angry outburst, which is probably another reason she wasn't expecting me in the break room. But when I'm admitting I need help, that's when you know I need help because I never ask for help if I can avoid it.
“It's not- you didn't do anything wrong… Look, it's kind of difficult for me to ask this, but can you help me with something?”
S131 suddenly smiled wide, “sure! Anything.”
“So you know how you've been trying to become a lab technician in the sky kingdom?” I sighed, “Well, I kinda need to know how those machines work.” I started twiddling my thumbs.
“Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Of course I'll be glad to show you! Let's walk to your place after work together!”
“Yeah-” I said hoping my voice didn't betray my nervousness at the fact Sarah and I were going to be alone at my house. Well, apart from Ellara obviously but still. Then the bell rang indicating the end of break.
