Chapter No 7 The Alpha

❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️ I was running as fast as I could. My paws felt the soil beneath me, and I had never been this happy before. "Alexa, run as fast as you can! I want to feel this wind. I want to feel this speed. Oh, Alexa, you don’t know how happy I am today!" I shouted excitedly. "I can’t believe it, human. You were unable to hear me for years?" Alexa asked. "I couldn’t hear. I thought you didn’t exist," I replied, smiling. "I’ve been with you since the day you were born," she said. "Alexa, why couldn’t I hear you?" I asked. "I don’t know. I tried so hard to reach you. I saw how they bullied you, how they thought you were nothing but a silly wolfless girl, but they didn’t know you were an Alpha," Alexa said, her voice almost singing. "What? I’m an Alpha?" I screamed. "Yes, now look at your paws," she said. I glanced down and almost gasped. "Red? My wolf is red?" I whispered. "But…" I felt dizzy, about to faint. "Yes, darling, we’re the rare wolf," Alexa said. I felt a rush of happiness. Then I heard howling. I turned my head while running. More than three hundred wolves were chasing me. "They’re hunting us, but wait… they’re not wolves from our pack. Who are they?" I asked, my heart pounding. I looked ahead. Alexa increased her speed. "And we’re being chased by an army?" "What on earth is this? Even the guards in the territory aren’t our wolves? Who are they?" I screamed. "Right now, we have to run. Run as fast as we can. I can sense danger," Alexa said. The wolves behind us howled. "Alexa, turn left! I know the way out of this place," I shouted. "But Ember, this could be so dangerous. The members of other territories won’t accept us," she said. "Don’t worry about it. It’s better to live in a prison in a different territory than to become a s*x slave to Nathan, the bastard," I yelled. Alexa turned left, and we entered the woods. "Alexa, faster!" I screamed. "Darling, I’m enjoying it so much. It’s fun to climb up these rocks," Alexa said. I chuckled. We reached the place where I had met that stranger that very day. A déjà vu. "Alexa, jump up," I said. She leapt onto the rock, and one by one, I climbed up the waterfall. Finally, I reached the top. This was where I had seen those blue eyes for the first time. I turned my head and saw more than forty wolves standing below, staring up at me, while the rest ran towards the waterfall. "Princess Ember, you’ve broken the law. You are now officially a rogue. You have two choices: come down and surrender yourself, or we’ll hunt and kill you," a voice spoke in my mind. "Alexa, could you give me control?" I asked. My bones shifted, and I transformed back into my human form. My body had changed—I felt stronger and healthier. My hourglass figure and womanhood made me feel powerful. Shifting had changed me. I raised my hand, and the water rose around me, forming a beautiful dress. Everyone gasped. "She… she can control water… how?" I heard one of the wolves mutter. I looked down proudly. All of them gasped. "People of Timber Wolf and Grimshadow, I am no rogue. As you all can see, I am the Alpha of the pack. I will return and fight for my legal rights. Tell my father I will come back, and he will pay for what he did to me. Until then, goodbye," I declared proudly, turning to walk away. My long hair flowed along the water. I walked away from the mountaintop. Alpha Nathan rushed toward the wolves. "Where is she? Why haven’t you just grabbed her?" he shouted angrily. "She is an Alpha," one of the wolves said. Nathan slapped him. "I am the strongest Alpha here. Go! Chase her!" "She’s gone to another territory," said the wolf. "Where?" he snapped. "The Riverstone Pack," the wolf replied. Alpha Nathan looked up at the waterfall and screamed. No one dared to enter Riverstone. --- I was running in my human form. "Ember, if you’re exhausted, you can just let me take control," Alexa suggested. "No, Alexa. I’m fine. This is the first time I’ve felt this powerful and independent. Let me do it," I said happily. "Wow, I never imagined I’d visit this place. It’s so wonderful," she said. "Do you know whose territory this is?" I asked. "No, I don’t," she admitted. The water still covered my body. "How did I control the water?" I wondered aloud. "I don’t know. I want to ask you," Alexa said. "When I shifted into my human form, I wanted something to cover my womanhood, and the water rose around me," I said. "Perhaps it’s because I am a red wolf." I was exhausted. I had been walking continuously. "Ember, I… I don’t feel well," Alexa said. "Please don’t leave me now, Alexa. I’m already so exhausted," I said, my voice strained. My vision blurred as if the power was being drained from my body. I felt someone touch my shoulder. I tried to open my eyes, but nothing helped. The last thing I saw were two wolves approaching me—a grey one and a huge white one. "Please… don’t hurt me…" I whispered before losing consciousness. "Who is she?" Aria asked, looking at her mate, Caleb. "I don’t know, but I get very positive vibes from her," Caleb said. "Why did you exhaust her using your powers?" Aria asked. "I had no other choice. We were patrolling; she could be dangerous," Caleb replied. "What should we do now?" she asked. "Take her to Aunt Althea," Caleb suggested. "I don’t think so. Alpha Althea isn’t here; she’s gone to the Floroscura pack with Alpha Tyler," Aria said. "Then we should take her to Hazel," Caleb said. "That would be great. Alpha Eden and Hazel are back from their respective packs," Aria said as she dragged me away. ❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️
