Alexandra remains silent with a dismay look on her face.
After we are done eating we took a short rest then went on our way
“Sis, stay!” Alexandra said with authority
Margaret glare at her with a smug look on her face then ask
“Why?”
“I think we can take care of ourselves”
“No need to escort us back to the dorm” I said to her
Margaret insisted but I managed to talk my way into her so she stayed. We bid our goodbyes then when on our way
“Have a sit Margaret” Alexandra said as she crosses her legs and place her hands on top of her lap
“If you are going to discourage me again please stop”
“I don’t want to hear it” Margaret seems pissed
“I am not discouraging you!”
“I am just warning you!”
“We both know that I was more skillful at your age and there I was almost got killed because of a f*****g title”
“I am just concerned about you, that's all. Ever since mom and dad left us you are the only family I have so please sis don’t proceed I can’t afford to lose you” Alexandra begged
“Okay sis! Chill, okay”
“Nothing bad is going to happen to me even if I face Vermillion for the title”
“I am sure that we are not going to kill one another when the time comes” Margaret said
“Don’t get too complacent sis. He is still a demon” Alexandra said
“So what if he is a demon!”
“Wanna know why the society is f****d up it is because of that way of thinking”
“Everyone is stereotyping every race. “He’s a demon for sure he is a bad person”” Margaret whines
“But do you know who that person is? No right? So don’t jump into your foolish generalization sis. I thought you are an educator how can you teach with that kind of mindset” Margaret said then she turns her back at her then walk upstairs
Margaret heads to his room then he hears a creaking sound coming from her bedroom. With a suspicious look on her face she tiptoed her to her room. She takes a deep breath as she brace herself for whatever happens next.
“Who goes there!” Margaret said as she opens the door but sad to say she didn’t saw anyone
She quickly enters her room and scans everything. The bathroom, her wardrobe, underneath her bed, and even outside her window but no one was there. With a suspicious look on her face she went downstairs and told her sister about what happen
Inside Vermillion’s car Alice was sitting in the passenger seat
“So Golem, how long have you and Margaret been friends?” Vermillion ask
“Why do you ask?” Alice ask back
“Well you seem awfully attached to her”
“You two look like you have a long history together” Vermillion said
“Well we really aren’t friends at first we were rivals”
“You know the Trinity, right? We each one of them has a student to mentor and I was sir Draco’s student while Margaret is her sister’s”
“At first she was being compared to me because she lacks combat attributes even if she’s much older than us”
“I even remember the time that I whoop her ass without her landing a single hit on me but that day she earned my respect”
“”Not yet!” She said with all her intentions and I felt that. But I still beat her like a pulp” Alice then giggles
“But you know what, she's the most enduring person I know. Like she’ll go all the way just to achieve what she wants but in a good way. She’s kind and loving which made me so attached to her. I love the way she rubs my head when I hug her it is so blissful you know”
“I don’t know why but her classmates treat her like an outcast. Like she doesn’t belong in that room and it infuriates me everytime”
“Why are they like that basing one’s characteristics and attitude according to their lineage”
“f*****g racist!” Alice ranted
“Well we can’t blame society
“Over the years the demons are coined to be ruthless and unfair but we are not like that most of us I mean not everyone. Even if we try to eradicate every foul being then no one is going to survive”
“Evil is everywhere but some are less evil. I don’t believe that there is someone that has a pure heart like with all good intentions. Even the gods aren’t capable of such things
“Agreed” Alice said while nodding his head
“If you don’t mind me asking Vermillion”
“Do you wish to fight Mama in the future. You know for the demon lord title” Alice ask
“I don’t know”
“I do want to fight her but if it will only end up killing one of us then I think I’ll pass”
“I can’t carry a burden like that” Vermillion said
“But don’t you want the title?” Alice ask
“Personally no but my race and clan depends on it” Vermillion said
“I see”
“Well good luck in whatever happens but I am still rooting for Mama” Alice teased as she sticks her tongue out
Inside the twins’ car
“So what did you guys talk about?” I curiously ask
“About you” Cherry Lyn quickly said but Darryl Lyn made noises to prevent me from hearing it
“About me?” I reacted
Darryl Lyn glared at her sister without tilting her head and it seems Cherry Lyn gets the picture
“Me? What do you mean, me? Cherry Lyn reacted
“Well you did answer “About me” which means you girls were talking about me earlier.” I said with a weird look on my face
“Oh, sorry you kinda misheard it. Sis did interrupted me earlier”
“What I said was youth and not you”
“Sorry!” Cherry Lyn teased then sticks her tongue out
“Oh, what about the youth?” I ask
“Well we did talk about how the students going to embrace the changes that we are going to implement”
“It is better to start while they are young or youthful so they have more time to apply it something like that” Cherry Lyn said
“What about you guys what happen inside”
“I didn’t know that our adviser and Margaret were related” Cherry Lyn changes the topic
“We they are sister”
“Nothing happened inside when you guys weren’t around”
“Vermillion was awfully quiet when Alex went down to grab a glass of water”
“The look on his face is priceless. I wish you could see it” I cheerfully said
“Say Ramon, what will you do if one of us becomes distant all of a sudden?” Darryl Lyn ask
“Huh? Of course I will reach our”
“Why is there something that matters?” I concernly ask
“Nothing just a random thought that’s all”
“No need to worry okay” Darryl Lyn said
“It’s okay to feel left out”
“Are you feeling this because most of us are god candidates already?”
“Look, the mark is given to someone which is worthy or is a direct descendant of a god, like a relative or child”
“It’s never too late sooner or later you’ll become a candidate as well” I said
“I really don’t care about becoming a candidate in fact I don’t even know what a candidate is”
“What I know is that they are just going to face each other to the death or made a peaceful negotiation to attain the title”
“But I don’t think someone is capable of giving the title that easily. Everyone wants power and dominance and becoming a god is the epitome of power” Darryl Lyn said
“What about you Ramon, what would you do if you found out that you have someone up against you?
“Will you resort to violence or are you going to talk yourself out of it?” Cherry Lyn ask
“If that happens I will just give the title to whoever I face I guess” I said
“So you’re just throwing away power”
“You know that when you become a god all your desires will be possible. In fact if you become a god I’ll even worship you” Cherry Lyn said
“Me too I’ll be your follower” Darryl Lyn said
“Thanks ladies but I don’t think that I am cut out for a position like that”
“Being student council president is one thing but being a god and governing over countless lives is tough you know”
“One wrong decision and everything will crumble” I said
“But thing about the power that you will attain”
“Plus with knowledge and wisdom like yours I think you’ll are fitting to be a god”
“If not then you wouldn’t receive that mark of yours” Darryl Lyn said
“How did you receive that mark anyways?” Cherry Lyn ask
“I don’t know but after Vermillion accidentally broke my limiter my eyes were never the same again”
“I started seeing monsters which is pretty unusual for me and I receive tremendous amount of power coursing through my eyes”
“The mark just popped out of nowhere I guess” I said
“Ramon don’t you think you are a … oh never mind” Darryl Lyn hesitantly said
