Recess time the twins and I secure ourselves a spot at the cafeteria.
“So what were you two talking about?”
“That new girl” Darryl Lyn ask
“Just random stuff that’s all” I said
She then pouts at me then said “Okay”
Several minutes later Vermillion shows up and he looks like he has something to say. I have a feeling that he is going to say something to me about not coming to the parking lot.
“Sorry if I didn’t went to the meeting place”
“You see Veronica ask me a favor and I just can say no to her”
“Sorry” I apologized
“So how did it go?” I ask
“I didn’t arrive on time”
“When I got there they were already leaving and I didn’t confirm if there is a bomb hidden or not” He said as he takes a sit
“I see”
“Do you know any sensory magic user that you can trust?” I ask Vermillion
“Sensory?” Vermillion cluelessly ask
“Someone that can sense the surroundings if there is someone approaching or something” I said
“Well we do have scouts and their are top notch watchers but I don’t think they are capable of knowing if someone is sus or not” He said
“Why for?” Cherry Lyn ask
“Well I do need to talk to Thalia later and I want someone to look over us just in case something happens” I said
I move my face closer then tilt my head signaling them to move closer
“I know I can trust you so I’ll tell you. I am being targeted by oppressors that doesn’t want me to become student council president”
“I want someone to look over us just in case an attack” I said
“What attack?” Someone ask
Darryl Lyn and I activated our eyes as we looked at who said that apparently it was only Alice. I immediately move to the other seat so she can take the closest seat because the tray she was carrying looks kinda heavy.
“What brings you here?” the twins ask
“Suck it!”
“Tables are all occupied and this was the only table that has a spare seat” Alice said
“Well I saw a vacant table over there!” Vermillion teased as he points out an unoccupied table
Alice then stands up and lifts her tray. Vermillion felt sorry for it so he grabs Alice’s wrist then said
“Look I didn’t meant to drive you away, promise”
“I was just joking that’s all”
“Please sit down” Vermillion apologized
“Tsk, tsk, tsk” The twins teased ay they wag their heads
I smell something fishy so I smiled at Vermillion in a teasing manner
“What?” He ask
I just ignored him and made my smile wider so I could tease him even more. I know he is being weirded out
“Dude stop!” He reacted then he facepalms me right in the face and it kinda hurt actually
“So about the attack you were talking about earlier”
“Tell me the details” Alice said as she munch down on her lunch
“Well, Ramon and I started playing this game and we were strategizing”
“Yeah that’s it strategizing” Vermillion weirdly said
“Zip it!”
“Tell me what truly is happening or murder you all” Alice threatens
Aren’t you cocky!” Vermillion boastfully said
“Enough you too”
“Alice, be an example. What were you thinking, we are here in the open and you started acting like that”
“What would the others think” I lectured
“I know your loyalty belongs to Marg but can I trust you on this one?”
“I won’t tell you unless you tell me that you won’t speak about this to anyone and that includes Marg” I said
“Will it involve me and mother? Or will it concern us of some sort?” She ask
“Well it doesn’t directly affects you two but under the circumstances your position at the student council might get revoke” I said
“Is it because of the attack you guys were talking about?” She seriously ask
“Sadly yes”
“If you swear to not tell anyone I might give you the details” I said
“What if mama asks?”
“Surely I will tell the truth at some point” She said
“Sorry but if that is the case then I won’t tell you”
“If you don’t mind could you please move to a different table so we can continue our discussion” I ask a favor
“Okay no problem” She said with a gloomy look on her face
I don’t know why but my chest starts to get heavy. I don’t know why but i feel I did something wrong to her
“Alice on second thought comeback” I quickly said
She stops walking then head back to our table
“Sorry if I drove you away”
“We will just continue our little chat later”
“Now finish your lunch okay and let’s head to the student council office together” I said with a delightful smile on my face
After we all finished lunch we headed straight to the student council office but Vermillion went his separate way. He has errands to run, he said. I doubt that I think he is going to look for someone to guard me while talking to Thalia later
“Hey Alice, are you always eating all alone?” Cherry Lyn concernly ask
“If yes you could always eat with us. We always have a spare chair because everyone is to afraid to sit with us” Darryl Lyn said
“Is it because of the fear feaster’s eyes?”
“Well I am not afraid of them”
“For me they are cute” Alice said
“Tell that to the people haunted by their worst nightmares upon looking into these eyes” Darryl Lyn seems down
“But your eyes aren’t the worst I’ve seen”
“The president of the board has this eyes that shakes me to the core”
“It feels like my mana and powers are being drain just by looking at it and it doesn’t even uses its powers yet” Alice said
“That’s the demon lord for you” I reacted
“So cheer up okay”
“Your eyes are beautiful no matter what curses it may inflict” Alice said then she hugs the twins
“I’ll go ahead I still need to check on Veronica if she manage to finish her report” I said then I went on my way
After several steps away I felt this chilly breeze
“What is it you want?” I ask as I activated my eyes
“Remember what I told you about the members of the board?”
“You said one of them uses teleportation magic and you think they escaped, right?” She said
“Yes I remember” I said which interrupted her a bit
“Turns out two of them were missing in fact new members replace them this morning” She said
“And how did you know about the replacements?” I suspiciously ask
“I was there when it happened duh!” She meanly said as she rolls her eyes at me
“That figures” a thought inside my head
“So? What are you waiting for tell me the details” I said
“I was inside the conference room and only four people were there. The headmaster, her secretary, the demon lord, and the lady with the glasses she looks like a golem of some sort”
“They were awfully quiet like there was dead air between all of them. Several seconds later the shadow casted by the curtains then spreads out and the dark entity I saw together with the two pops out together with two other individuals”
“The first one is Marcus Draco and the other one I don’t know. It is actually the first time I've seen her. She looks elegant with her dark violet hair just like the infinite galaxy”
“But we should remain vigilant, we don’t know why the sudden change in members but I have a suspicion something bad is going to happen. So better keep your guard up Ramon” She said
“So that means we have a new contender inside this institution and we know nothing about her”
“Let’s just hope she’s on our side” I said
“I doubt that!”
“If the the headmaster is your ally it is safe to say that the new board member will be your foe”
“The moment the headmaster’s eyes and the new member’s eyes crossed I can sense that they have something to settle”
“Maybe a dispute or something. We can’t tell” She said
“Don’t worry yourself too much okay”
“I can’t weigh yet is the headmistress is on my side or not but she did pull some strings for me and I am grateful because of that”
“ I own here everything I am now” I blissfully said
“But between you and me and I don’t trust you fully yet”
“Maybe I still have my doubts about you. You did want to kill me” I teased
“Hehe” She pissedly reacted
“Someone’s coming!” Emilia said then she vanishes
“Oh Ramon! Fancy seeing you here” Anino greeted
“Say Anino, word on the street that there are two new members on the board?” I ask
