After I give Elena a call I start packing my things and call my driver. He asked me where we were going so I told him the name of my village. Strange but his cheerful expression turned into pale all off a sudden
“Does the mistress know about this?” He shakingly ask
“I already informed her so let’s go” I rushed him he it seems he’s not following my orders
I got pissed and started shouting at him and even threatened him to lose his job but I don’t know why he is willing to quit rather than drive me back to my village. I stepped out of the car and brought my bag along with me. Several minutes later I then receive a call and its from an unknown number
“Hello” the first thing I said upon answering the call then the call immediately drop
It’s either someone dialed the wrong number or someone managed to get my contact info. Who cares I am going to ditch this place anyway. I started walking even though I didn't know where I was going. Hours passed and I finally reached the main gate. I take a good long stare at the university and I didn’t even felt a single hint of regret as I walk away from it
“Farewell Mythingale University” I said
“Good day everyone!” Katarina hyping up the crowd
“Now may I present to you the presidential candidates. Starting with” Katarina announced
Vermillion steps in first together with his party. He gave his introduction then took his leave. Up next was Teodosia and her party. She gave her introduction then left
“And those are the candidates for this years election” Katarina announce
The crowd has these strange looks on their faces as they completely disagree with what Katarina just said. The crowd started murmuring about the missing candidate with made a huge commotion
“Where’s Ramon!” Someone within the crowd shouted and because of that everyone start to shout as well
Katarina started grabbing the attention of the crowd and tried calming them down but they were too much for her to handle. Then one of the board members stood up and it was the Siren. She shouted “Silence” and everyone become speechless all of a sudden
“Please continue with the program” the Siren said
“Yes Ma’am” Katarina submissively said
The Siren sits down then Katarina continues the program. Both parties went on their assigned podiums as Katarina explained the mechanics of the debate. Both parties were set and somehow got the jeez of it. With that being settled they started the debate. Vermillion starts telling his platforms followed by Teodosia with hers. The program will resume shortly after a ten minute break
“SIs”
“Why do you think Ramon backed out at the last minute?” Cherry Lyn ask
“I don’t know Sis but U hope he’s alright”
“Co e to think of it I haven’t seen him today” Darryl Lyn said
“So did I” Cherry Lyn said
“Let’s just hope that he’s okay” Darryl Lyn said as she hugs her sister tight
“Looks like he really isn’t coming” Teodosia said as she and her party approaches Vermillion
“I don’t want to talk about it”
“What else can we do if you’re against the demon lord himself and talk about your mom silencing everyone with a simple command” Vermillion said as if he is losing hope
Teodosia just sticks her tongue out in a teasing manner
“Cheer up Vermillion”
“We still have a title to battle”
“Just so you know I’m going to win this no hard feelings okay” Teodosia said then they went on their way
“That cocky b***h” A demon said
“Settle down we all know who’s going to win”
“Especially now when he isn’t coming” Vermillion said
“It such a shame someone with his calibre is a no show” another demon said
“Young master, why did you let us make a deal with the Technos again? I thought you won’t resort to cheating whatever happens young master” another demon said
“Yeah yeah, I am not that low you know besides the letter that I’ve sent them is just for backup. But it turns out I won’t need it any more” Vermillion said with a force smile in his face
Vermillion turns his back then starts walking. He clenches his fist and lock his jaw
“You better come back Ramon”
“I went all the necessary precautions just to make sure you’ll arrive at just in time but it turns out the board already made the necessary actions to remove your name in the list of candidates”
“Well done father you really prove how power can change someone” Vermillion said
Vermillion then recalls a memory of him and his father back when he was little. His father was just a simple and loving man but everything changed since he become the demon lord
Teodosia and his party stopped at a door then knock several times
“Enter” Someone said coming from inside the room
“Mother, we need to talk!” Teodosia said as she barges in
“And what is it you want to talk about daughter” the siren from earlier said
“You know why I personally come her, don’t act dumb” Teodosia shouted
“Tell me, why are you acting like that?”
“A forsaken like him have no place in this institution my daughter and to think he has the audacity to run for president”
“Do you think we’re going to allow that? Even if he is fit to rule but scum like him should never be here in the first place” the siren said
“Oh I almost forgot talk to me like that again I’ll make sure you’d be sleeping with the fishes” the siren threatened
Teodosia walks out the room stomping her feet on the ground as if she was a kid that didn’t get what she wanted. Several minutes later Teodosia then received a text saying
“Meet me at the restroom behind the stage”
Teodosia immediately ran as fast as she could while checking the time on her phone. Last three minutes before the debate starts and she finally arrives at the restroom. At the entrance a senior student was standing
“Good you’re here”
“I reckon you barge in at mom’s room correct and I am sure that she’s too stubborn to listen”
“How about I help you find that guy, what is his name again? Ramon right?” the lady said
“You’re going to help me sis? Sounds kinda sus but I have no choice so what do you want in return?” Teodosia said
“I don’t want anything in return I just want to see how far that kid can go”
“I am sick of this manipulative university anyway” the lady said
“Sis thanks” Teodosia appreciatively said
“Don’t thank me yet I have done anything”
“Plus I want you to make the debate long so I have all the time to find him”
“Now go you’ll be late” the lady said as she gives Teodosia a slight push
Teodosia turns her back to her sister then takes a deep breath then releases it loudly to release all the tension out. She fixes her hair then when on her way
Teodosia’s sister picks up her phone then call someone and it immediately pick up
“She took the bait” She said
“You’re here” Vermillion said as he lowers down his phone upon seeing Teodosia approaching
Katarina announces to everyone how the flow of the debate will be. After the introduction the candidates stepped up the stage once again and went to their assigned podiums. Moments after Teodosia delivers her speech
At the building's entrance Teodosia’s sister exits along with two shady looking men lifting heavy boxes. At the highway the men set up a small small machinery that jams any communication signal. As soon as the jammer work they went on their way

I walk the path towards the mall. Maybe there I can find a ride back home or maybe someone to talk to. I really don’t know what I was supposed to do but my mind is already set on returning home. Life in the urban area is tougher as I expected so much for being excited to meet my mom here. If only I have a picture or something that reminds me of her too bad I only have my memories of her. Then something popped inside my mind. With a joyful smile on my face I race towards the mall hoping there is a stall offering that kind of service. As I ran towards the my destination I then received a call from Elena
“What in the world are you doing outside the campus!”
“Don’t you have an election today!” She shouted
I immediately drop the call because I felt scared all of a sudden as if the world went against me that moment
