Where am I?

Because of the intense atmosphere inside I decided to take some fresh air outside. I was about to exit the room but someone opened the door from the outside.
“You’re late!” Vandalir said
“Sorry we can’t get pass through because the entrance is congested” Elena apologize as they enter the room
“You! What are you still doing standing there?”
“Get back to your seat” Elena ordered
“Hi Madam!” I said as I gave her a bow
I stick my tongue out at Elena to piss her a bit before I went to my seat
As soon as everyone was seated properly the headmistress started the meeting. We only talk about the future plans for the institution and how to resolve the monstrosity that is happening all over the place
“If you don’t mind me asking”
“Are you the one making all the calls here?” I ask the headmistress
With a straight look on her face she said
“No my dear. We are a group”
“Only I make the final call” She said
“Not to be rude but you are partly fault because the institution is like this” I said
“Such insolence!” Elena seems super pissed but with a raise of the headmistress’s hand she stops blabbering
The board seems enjoying the view
“Yes I should be blamed for the institution’s mishaps”
“But are they any?”
“It seems you are the only one complaining about how I run the place” She said
“She’s right kid you are the only that started complaining about something” Anino said
“Why wouldn’t I?”
“This is university is f****d up literally”
“The system is discriminatory in a way only a chosen few individuals are given a chance to showcase their skills and talents. In fact over the past months I’ve dealt with individuals capable of sweeping the competition but turns out their clan is not popular or powerful enough to be recognized”
“Starting my term I want to make a new clan system where everyone is on equal grounds. No Gods, no royalties. Just purely skills and talents” I said
“But do you think they are really capable of winning?”
“The ranking is actually based on the clans overall performance and not an individual”
“We are also conducting a game or audition to know who is the best choice for this specific event so don’t go barking at the wrong three” The siren said
“Well so Mrs. Utopia it might have slip your mind that it is possible that the audition is rigged or the judges are putting per personal biases”
“The problem here is that the clan system is dividing the students which is not good for a growing community
“So I will also impose a monthly event were they must form a group or clan rather composed off different races and let’s see how things will turns out” I said
“So you’re planning a clan collaboration”
“That’s great and all but have you ever thought of the lineage, history, and treaties of the clans here?”
“Most clans doesn’t welcome outsiders” Animo said
“Well I do have the authority right?” I ask
“Yes Ramon you have the authority to impose what you want as long as the board and I are in favor of it” the headmistress said
“What if the majority is not in favor?”
“Can I still proceed?” I ask
“Of course you can. As I said you have the authority the decision is only to know who is willing to support you” the headmistress said
“Okay, point taken” I reacted
“What about the capture operation?” I ask
“Capture operation?” the headmistress reacted as she is isn’t informed of what happened
“Hold up kid!” Vandalir steps in
“Can someone please inform me of what Ramon is talking about” the headmistress ask
“We are sorry to inform you Madam but a member of the Trinity has been corrupted”
“The Diablo spirit arts user Alexandra De Villa” Herlina said
“And why are you just telling me this?” the headmistress has her suspicion
“We are sorry Madam but we did manage to container her” Herlina said
“And where did you trap her?” At the dungeon
“After this assembly I want to see her” the headmistress said
“Okay Madam” Herlina said then she takes her sit
As she sits down she stares at me as if I did her wrong so does Mrs. Utopia and Vandalir
“What’s wrong with them?”
“Did I say something wrong again?”
“It feels like my presence isn’t welcome here” thoughts inside my head
I was completely lost in my thoughts then someone knock on the door
“Enter” Procyon said
“Pardon the intrusion but the stage is all set and it’s your queue to head upstage everyone” a staff said
“Okay thank you, well be on our way” Procyon said as he stands up
“You heard him it’s time” Procyon said as he picks up his coat then went on his way
We followed him soon after
On the way I grab the headmistress’s attention by tugging her sleeve
“Madam, can I have a word with you after the assembly?”
“It will be quick promise” I said
“Sorry Ramon, but I must check on the rogue spirit arts user but feel free to ask Ms. Patterson for an appointment” She said
They are all heading up stage but the staff grabs hold of me then ask
“Who are you kid?”
“It is fine I am with them” I said
“Not happening kid”
“Only special participants are allowed to go upstage” the staff said
“But I am important!” I explained
“Okay kid tell me your name” He said
“Ramon Paloma the newly elected president”
“Now will you let me in” I said as I walk straight in
He grabs me by the collar then pulls me back to my place
“You’re in the list alright but it is not your queue yet”
“How about you get comfy in the other room together with the student council”
“I’ll just inform you when it is time for you to get on stage okay”
“Please behave I don’t want to lose my job Sir” He said
He then escorted me to the room and he was not joking. The entire student council was there.
“So Ramon, what's the score between you and that devil girl?” the vice president ask
“Well I ask here to be my vice president and that was her reaction” I said
“Kinda sus to me” He said
“You can think all you want but we are just friends, okay”
“And she’s way out of my league” I said followed by a sigh
“I doubt that!” Katarina said as he assisted me to my seat
“Doubt what?” I ask
“Of you two being a couple” She teased
I was about to explain myself but the staff grabbed our attention. Looks like it is time for us to step on stage.
“Let’s go lover boy” the vice president teased
The staff called our names and made us fall in line. He looks weary because there are still empty slots to be filled. I had a suspicion that that’s my party missing
“Pardon me sir, are you getting stressed because you are missing a few people?” I ask
“Well yes sir, I am missing four individuals” He said
“Don’t worry sir, I think the four you are missing are my party”
“Well I did tell them to sit with the crowd. I am sorry if I made you worried”
“But I’ll take care of it” I said in a comforting manner
One by one the student council is being called up to the last one. After Katarina delivered her speech my name was called. I don’t know why but every step I make I can hear my heart pounding. I can see the bright spotlight as I take the stage and the crowd applaud for me as I head to the podium. I can feel my hands shaking. I started tapping my fingers on the podium to release some tension and release several deep breaths. The crowd went silent and that was my queue to deliver my speech
“Good day to you all”
“Before I start my speech let me say thank you to everyone that supported me. Give yourselves a round of applause for a job well done”
“Without you just I wouldn’t be standing here now in front of you all”
“I know some worry about me, who wouldn’t? Race, status, and power is everything here and I am just a new transfer student with a vision of reforming this school”
“I’ll start small, let's say implementing a clan collaboration with other clans. I will set a monthly task that is in need of a team or party composed of different races. The winners will be given the rights to brag. I don’t care if you mock the gods, i don’t care if you mock royalty while I am president status and lineage is trash. All I want is results”
My speech continues until everything I need to say was delivered
