As they got closer, I started wonder who that girl is
“Who is she?” I mumbled
“I thought she was your sister?” Procyon reacted with a wrinkled forehead
“Are you messing with me?”
“This is the first time that I’ve seen her”
“If you don’t show my sister now I promise that you will regret everything!” I shouted then I started tugging the chains with all my might then suddenly I felt nauseous. Like the entire room was spinning around
“And he finally run out of mana” Procyon said then he hoist me up and put me into a relaxing position to lessen the strain in my body
“Took him long enough to run out of juice”
“How amusing” Helena said then she cast a barrier around me
“What was that for?” Procyon teasingly ask
“Just to make sure he doesn’t escape or if he do manage to I”ll get informed” Helena seriously said as she watches over me
Everyone was about to head out but Procyon hold Anino by the shoulder then ask
“Is that really the girl she saved?”
“I don’t know but I have a feeling someone swapped the real deal”
“Do you remember what the kid looks like?”
“I not sure off what she looks because it was sudden but we did brought a child to the custody” Anino said
He then approaches the girl and kneels down. He holds the child's hand then ask
“Did a tall white lady ask you questions earlier?” He said in a soft and calm manner to avoid putting any pressure on the kid
Procyon was about to say something but Anino placed his pointing finger onto his lips. Procyon then shuts mouth then the kid nod while saying yes
“What’s with you asking the child like that?
“Who is this tall white lady anyway?” Procyon said with a wrinkled forehead
“Mrs. Celestina of course”
“Why do you ask?” Anino said with a clueless look on his face
Procyon pats Anino’s shoulder several times expressing that it is okay for him to leave. The guards together with the little girl also went on their way
Procyon was left in the room with my unconscious body and I don’t know why he is just sitting there staring at me.
“Oh Ramon, why do you have to act like that?”
“As bright as you are you always act so carelessly”
“If you are the hero in Lisandro’s prophecy you’d be in major travel”
“If you truly possess the almighty seeing eyes and become Lisandro’s successor prepare for the worst”
“You might not hear me or know that I was here but I wish you the best”
“Be true Ramon and rise up. Every being is waiting for salvation” Procyon said then the door opens
“So you really stayed here. What did you say to him?” Celestina ask as she approaches the couch where Procyon was seating
“What are you doing here Celestina?”
“Everyone left already” Procyon said with an expression look on his face
“I should be asking you that?” She said as she takes her seat next to Procyon
“Well I don’t know why but I have came to like this kid”
“Something is touching me from inside out as if we are destined to meet and for the fact that he is Vermillion’s first friend which isn’t a demon” Procyon said with a blissful look on his face
“Well that kid is also the one that would ruin your son’s relation with my daughter”
“In fact if I hadn’t intervened the two might end up together” Celestina said with doubt written all over her face
“My son doesn’t want your daughter”
“You are just forcing the two for what? To attain more power, Tsk”
“If I were you I’ll stop whatever you are up to. You’re just making a disgrace out of your own daughter” Procyon said with a menacing look on his face
“I have to go I can’t stand breathing the same air as you” He said with a smirk on his face then walks away
“That bastard!” Celestina shouted in her mind with a humiliated look on her face
Class just ended and everyone in the student council is all present except for me.
“Looks like Ramon hasn’t return yet” Alice worriedly said
“Yeah ever since the headmistress called him he hasn’t returned yet” the twins said in chorus
“Don’t be down”
“The event is fast approaching maybe they are just discussing some important matter”
“Maybe tomorrow he will bring down all the details. Right now we should discuss about the task at hand” Margaret said trying to cheer up everyone but they still all look bothered
An hour passed and someone force his way inside and shouted
“Is Ramon here!”
Everyone was startled but immediately calmed down the moment they saw who the intruder was.
“Vermillion, what brings you here?”
“You look like someone is chasing you”
“Is something that matters?” Margaret ask the moment Vermillion enters the room
“Did Ramon return to the campus yet?” He shouted
“No, we last saw him at the cafeteria before the headmaster summoned him at her office”
“Why is there something that matters” Darryl Lyn ask
“You know about the dark district, right?”
“Believe me or not but Ramon was sighted together with three others”
“And the worst part is that the three left without him and he didn’t step out of the establishment till now” Vermillion said as he clenches his phone and lacks his jaw
“Let’s not be hasty maybe Ramon stayed there because he has business to tend too”
“About the three individuals that were with him? Do you have any information about them?”
“Who are they and the reason why they are seen in the dark district?” Margaret ask with a straight look on her face
“Sorry but I don’t have any as of the moment”
“My men are still searching for info but I’ll inform you ASAP”
“Well I’m off I’d be going now”
“I will be a waste of time if I remain here”
“Ciao” Vermillion said as he steps out the room
“Vermillion wait!” Margaret shouted which made Vermillion stop and turn
“What?” Vermillion reacted with worried glare
“Go bring him back!” Margaret said with a smile on her face
Vermillion just nod with a smug look on his face then he went on his way
“Is Ramon missing?” the twins said with a worried look on their faces
“No he is not missing” Margaret said with an enticing smile on her face
“Let’s say he is a kid that needs to be fetch or something like that” She said while repeatedly raising her eyebrows
“Don’t worry okay they will be fine” She said as she fix the papers
“Now look at the time it’s getting pretty late”
“Clean your station and we should head out. Maybe tomorrow we'll see Vermillion together with Ramon” Margaret said
“So cheer up okay, everything is going to be alright” She said as she pats the twins’ shoulders
“And Alice let’s go walk together”
“I have to tell you something” Margaret seriously said
“Well take care you two we’ll be going now” Darryl Lyn said as the twins stands up
“See you tomorrow guys”
“Love you” Cherry Lyn cheerfully said with a pleasant smile on her face
While walking the twins seriously started discussing over something and they both look bothersome
“Hey sis what did you see inside Marg’s mind?”
“I am pretty sure that she’s hiding something” Cherry Lyn ask
“Not good” Darryl Lyn answered
“Knew it” Cherry Lyn reacted followed by a long sigh
“Do tell” She worriedly mutter
“Her thoughts were a bit fragmatic like mirror pieces shattered all over the place and each fragment shows a different scenario” Darryl Lyn said
“What kind of scenarios?” Cherry Lyn said with a disturbed look on her face
“It’s about Ramon and the different ways that might happen to him”
“Feels like she’s overthinking too much” Darry Lyn said and she’s a bit off
She wets her lips then said
“Say sis, should we contact her? You know just to keep in touch”
“Those scenarios that were inside her thoughts must be heavy for her”
“To think that the person she loves is in a life threatening situation”
“Sis, stop! Are you hearing yourself?”
“Ramon isn’t in a life threatening situation right now, okay”
“What you've seen were just Marg’s messed up thoughts, that's all”
“Everything is going to be fine okay. Vermillion will bring him back” Cherry Lyn hopefully said as she holds her sister’s hands
“About keeping in touch with Marg I think we should call her now”
“I have a feeling that Alice and her are talking to each other right now”
“Her eyes were a bit teary and I could feel tension all over her body. Maybe she’s just keeping it cool earlier so we won’t shatter also”
“So let’s leave it all to her. We’ll just contact her later”
